2. FILM TITLE
When we were deciding what to call our film we thought we would go
with a Latin theme. The choices were between the following:
Somniare- Dreaming
Fabula- Fable
Fortunia- Fate
Infinitus- Endless (time)
Our choice was INFINITUS because we felt that this represented
everything in our film the most.
3. INFINITUS
The narrative of our film in a sentence is ‘A small child receives
a magical stopwatch from her late grandmother, she opens to
the stopwatch and is transported to an unfamiliar` world and
she must find her way home.'
4. GENRE AND THEMES
The genre of our film is a fantasy adventure film with a very mystical feel about
it.
It is targeted at families with children, specifically up to the ages of 10. However
we think that our film will attract people of all ages so that we can have a wider
audience, and thus making our marketing more diverse.
The theme running throughout the film is a mysterious adventure, leaving the
audience wanting to know more. We will accomplish this mysterious element before
the audience even get a chance to see the film by making our teaser trailers and
campaign posters appear like different sections of a puzzle.

6. TARGET AUDIENCE
The two genres we are using for our film is fantasy and aventure.
The setting of a film can say a lot about the genre. We have decided to set a large proportion of our
film in place that we thought seemed magical. The location is stepping stones in box hill.
The leading character of our film is a small child this helps us attract our target audience as we our
hoping the narrative incourages small children to watch our film. We decided to do aim it small children
because after doing research into the industry and seeing what gorup of people were most likely to watch
each genre of film we discovered that the fantasy adventure films were mostly watched by families or
children if they did not contain dark themes and violence which isnt going to include. It is going to be
child driendly to allow children and their families toc ome and watch the film.
Other films of a similar genre that were targeted at the same audience are;
The golden compass
Harry Potter
stardust
The Chronicles of Narnia
Alice In Wonderland
