Landscapes change naturally for many reasons over long periods of time. Rain and wind wear down soil and rocks, changing their shape. Man-made landscapes can also change due to construction and weathering over time.

 An archipelago is a group of islands.
 A bay is where the sea cuts into the land.
 A cliff is a high area of rock next to the sea.

 A beach is an area of flat land with white sand or pebbles next
to the sea.
 A peninsula is a piece of land surrounded by water on all sides
except one. Spain forms part of the Iberian Peninsula.
