peaceful coming out of Afghanistan? We bought the raw Lapis Lazuli
used in this necklace from a young Pakistani man and often wonder
how these semiprecious stones might have traveled from
Afghanistan to Pakistan to end up in Australia. The roughness of the
Lapis is in perfect contrast to the complete smoothness of the pearls
(from Shanghai). The 22k hand-hammered gold-plated beads came to
me from Istanbul, made by a guy how only works when he is in the
mood, so the beads are rather hard to come by….
So feel free to get on the road of fabulous adventures with this
unique piece that can be worn both on your décolleté or adorning a
gorgeous back!
