1. The day we went to Grand Rapids

One day my best friend Patti was going to sleep over
at my house until my mom said “NO” because we were
going to Grand Rapids. My dad was working up there
and said we could go to the hotel. So I begged and
begged until my mom got so annoyed she said “OK
Yes”
So she told me to pack up for the night. After I was
done packing, we were on our way to pick Patti up.
When we got to her apartment, we got her things
together and we were on our way.
Before we got on the highway we stopped at Burger
King and we both got extra large fries and a milk
shake.
After that we were on the highway. It was so boring
so we just talked about lots of random stuff. We both
finished are fries in ten minutes, I told my mom to
turn up the volume and turn on 98.7FM. The beat of
Detroit. My mom tried to act cool (She’s not).
Finally we got to the hotel at 6:00 p.m. We got our
stuff out of the car and dropped them off at our room.
Patti and I were wondering what to do; Suddenly I
yelled “Swimming!”
So we got our swimsuits on and went into the
hallway. Patti and I decided we would race each other.
Patti said “Ok I take these stairs and you take these.
Ok my mark… get set… GO”
Patti ran down the stairs. I acted like I was until I
couldn’t see her. Sneakily I went into the elevator. I
counted down the floors 5,4,3,2,1,”DING”. I got out
and waited until Finally I saw her. Then I said “HA HA
I beat you!”

2. Then we went to the pool to swim.
After we were finished we went up stairs, got our
clothes on and watched TV.
When everyone was asleep we did a blind makeover
where we took lipstick and put on makeup with our
eyes closed. When we were finished we went to bed
In the morning we had breakfast and went back to
my house. That night we had another sleepover and
for the whole week we went back and forth but that’s
another story.
