WEATHER HEADLINES
• How does rain form?
Water droplets form from warm air. As the warm air rises in the sky it
cools. Water vapor (invisible water in the air) always exists in our air.
Warm air holds quite a bit of water. For example, in the summer it is
usually very humid. When enough of these droplets collect together,
we see them as clouds. If the clouds are big enough and have
enough water droplets, the droplets bang together and form even
bigger drops. When the drops get heavy, they fall because of
gravity, and you see and feel rain.

• rotator joint
• ball-and-socket joint
TRIVIA ANSWER
• Which of the following is not a type of joint
in the human body?
• rotator joint
• There are three types of moveable joints in our body. The hinge
joint allows forward and backward movement, the pivot joint allows
for rotary movement (as seen when moving your head around), and
the ball-and-socket joint provides the greatest range of movement.

ANALOGY OF THE WEEK
• ADVANCE : RECEDE :: stiff : _____
• unyielding
• flexible
• bone
ANALOGY OF THE WEEK
ANSWER
• FLEXIBLE
• The best answer is flexible. The relationship
between the first pair of words, ADVANCE and
RECEDE, is that of antonyms—words that have
opposite meanings. Therefore, the second pair
of words must also be antonyms. Flexible is an
antonym of stiff.
