 Located in the historic building called “The
Morton House” in Duncan Park. Which was
originally built as a house by William Morton (one
of Lexington's first millionaires in 1810)
 When he died, his daughters sold it to Cassius
Clay who published “The Tr American” which was
written in the Lexington’s first abolitionist
newspaper.
 Began in 1977

Lexington Child Abuse Council” and “The Women’s
Center of Central Kentucky”

3.  The Nest-Center for Women, Children, and
Families is a local, nonprofit organization
that promotes healing, stability and well-being
of children and families. Our mission is
to provide education, counseling, and
support to families in crisis.
