2. A quite different from regular masala dosa, this one is
crisper from outside with a twisted taste of red chutney
with garlic from inside. Mashed Potato masala is used as a
filling in this dosa. A must try Mysore Masala dosa is
commonly available across the country.
3. • Rice (Par-boiled) - 1 Cup
• Urad dal - 1/4 Cup
• Toor dal - 3 Tbsp
• Semolina - 3 Tbsp
• Methi seeds - 1 Tsp
• Salt - To Taste
Ingredients Required:-
4. • Potatoes - 250 Gram
• Sliced Onions - 1 Cup
• Chopped Garlic - 1 Tsp
• Chopped Ginger - 1 Tsp
• Chopped Coriander Leaves - 2 Tbsp
• Green Chillies - To Taste
• Salt - To Taste
• Oil - 2 Tbsp
• Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
• Curry Leaves - 1 Spring
For Masala :-
5. • Garlic - 5-6Cloves
• Ginger - A Pinch
• Red Chillies - 2
• Chopped Onion - ½ Onion
• Fried Chana Dal - 2 Tbsp
• Salt - To Taste
For red chutney:-
6. Method:-
For Dough:-
• Need to soak all the ingredients for four hours except Semolina.
• After four hours, mix remaining semolina, salt.
• Make batter using water and then keep it aside.
7. Method:-
For Dosa Masala:-
• First, boil the potatoes, peel smash them.
• Make a paste from garlic, ginger, green chillies,
Coriander leaves, and onions.
• Take a pan and heat the oil, then add mustard seeds.
• Add Remaining Onions and saute them.
• Next, add the paste and continue to saute for 1-2
minutes.
• Then add potatoes, tomatoes, salt and curry leaves.
8. Method:-
For Red Chutney:-
• Roast chana dal till it turns a little brown in colour.
• Roast onion, ginger, and garlic for around 1 minute.
Then add them into the blender and make a paste.
9. Method:-
For Dosa:-
• Take a non-stick pan and heat little oil.
• Put Dosa batter and spread evenly.
• Put little oil around the dosa and cook well.
• Spread red chutney on the dosa.
• Put Dosa Masala.
• Cook properly, fold from both sides.
• Your Mysore Masala dosa is ready. serve hot
