1. Dear Hiring Manager,
I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of managing Lissette Vidal at Advanced Patient
Advocacy from 2012 to 2014 as a Liability Intake Specialist. Her duties included speaking
to patients daily, and communicating with attorneys, employers, and insurers. The
primary purpose of her role was to ensure patients had their medical visits and treatment
investigated, data gathered, and inputted into the electronic system. Lissette worked on
gathering and interpreting medical records, police and ambulance reports for various
accidents involving first responder presence, and communicating with the relevant parties
about liability advocacy.
The unit that I helped create as Director of Operations was a fledgling start-up division for
a well-established organization. The unit faced limited resources and budgeting, which is
a constraint many leaders understand and face each day. Lissette was instrumental in
identifying and resolving many visible and invisible details that assisted in getting the
operations off the ground and running smoother each day. Not only was she helping
patients every day, she was establishing relationships and building departmental
credibility for a very new unit. She handled small but essential details, such as postal
service drop-offs and supply runs, all the way to training new hires, and sitting in on
important negotiations and meetings. She advanced her knowledge and scope of her
duties very quickly. Lissette was an instrumental team member during that critical start-up
time, and we all missed her presence greatly as she left to her next military family
deployment.
I would be happy to discuss Lissette Vidal’s skills, reliability, and critical helpfulness at
any point in the future. I can be reached at 508-333-6167 or cguild@rmf.harvard.edu. I
strongly endorse Lissette Vidal for hire – she is a valuable asset and team member.
Respectfully,
Claudine Guild
