leadership and contributions in diverse disciplines. Cindy Ward is one of those success-driven individuals.
Cindy Ward has been involved in these innovations, particularly in the field of healthcare. Her desire to make a
difference and an innate gift to learn quickly, has afforded her the ability to learn numerous software programs in
order to develop and implement full scale company implementations, ongoing software enhancements while
ensuring quality assurance of their function and utilization. Furthermore, she has a strong belief the client and
end user relationships to be a valued commodity that require nurturing; Cindy has played an integral role in
bridging the technology and customer relationship experience. Her passion for customer service and her

Startingher career at Executive Benefit Program as a life insurance underwriter,
Cindy showed guts and initiative by offering to take over the IT functions for the office in addition to her
underwriter role. She learned fast and over the course of that first year, she converted the entire
organization from “dummy” terminalsintoa true network comprised of 1 server, 15 workstations and 3
printers.
Cindy found her passion for technology and ventured fully into the field of IT where she worked at Care Computer
System as a software support specialist.
During the 4 yearswith Care Computer System, Cindy became the top clinical support specialist and was
requested asthe sole support for their largest client of over 600 facilities.
Afterwards, she imparted her services at Central Indiana Cancer Centersasthe sole IT Coordinator.
Cindy was in charge of more than 200 employees, 15 physicians, and 2 nurse practitionerswhile
supporting7 locations, 200+ PCs, and 6 servers, alongwith 2 networksand Nortel Phone Systems, Cisco
Phone Systems,Lab Interface with Orchard LIS and various types of radiation equipment. While Cindy
managed the IT Projects for the buildsof 3 new 30,000sf Cancer Centersduringher tenure, she says her
greatest accomplishment waswhen one of the clinics were broken into on a Fridayevening and
computerstaken, network and phone system wiring cut and securitypanel stolen. She work tirelessly
over the next 48 hours gettingcomputersreplaced, wiringre-connected, phone and network systems
back up and runningand buildingsecure. That Monday morningonly the Practice administrator knew
that anythinghad taken place. All clinic functions and patient care continued uninterrupted.
After eight years, Cindy moved to Texas to be near her family and served as an implementation specialist and
senior trainer at Mednax.
In thisrole, she was accountable for buildinga team of trainers to meet the expectation of implementing
NextGen EHR and EPM for over 42 Maternal Fetal Medicine and PediatricCardiology Practices in 2.5
years. This included Software configuration, testing, implementation and training. These 42 practices
comprised of approximately5 providers and 16+ users, rangingfrom a single location up to seven
locations. As a proactive trainer, she developed trainingmanuals, instructed on site and web based
trainingclasses.Her approach is always provide the best trainingand tools in order to ensure success
while adjustingher trainingstyle based on the learningabilitiesof the staff.

Cindy demonstrated her exceptional expertise as project manager at PointClickCare.
Cindy managed an average of 40 projects that focused on implementation of long-term care software,
pharmacy integration, and multiple vendor interfaces. In this tenure, she provided notable contributions
that brought positive outcomes across the organization. To cite an instance, she expertly sustained 90%
accuracy by foreseeing expected revenue on a rolling three-month basis. In addition, she transferred all
scoped solutions, from current to future state to support closing of projects.
Shortly after, Cindy lent her services at CVS Caremark Corporation as an implementation manager.
Cindy headed the one-time, time critical project and completed the implementation of 11 corporate
maximum out-of-pocket benefits plan related to the 2015 requirement to meet the Affordable Care Act.
Cindy’s projects were only 2 of over 25 other implementation managers that were completed with no
errors or issues following a two-week posttest period.
With her strong commitment to hone her skills and knowledge, Cindy underwent extensive professional
trainings, which allowed her to obtain several certifications. These included certifications in NextGen Certified
Professional, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Captivate, Novell Systems Supervisor, and Health Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Security Official. A resident of Plano, Texas, Cindy devotedly imparts
her services as volunteer and fundraiser for Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Celebration of Hope Dinner, and
several silent auctions.
