4. Role of Club Treasurer
The Club Treasurer is responsible for financial matters
pertaining to the club
Maintain accurate finance records & Checking accounts
Is a member of Board of Directors of the club
Ensure all payments are approved by BOD & recorded in
minutes
Report reconciled bank balances at meetings.
5. Responsibilities
You should attend Club meetings regularly
Collect Subscription from Members
Payment of International and District Dues on time
Present Accounts in BOD Meeting regularly
Maintain vouchers to payments
6. Responsibilities
Avoid Cash Transactions
Accept only Cheques/DD from Members
While doing online payments take approval at BOD
Must attend Region and Zone (DGZACM) meetings
At the end of Lionistic year present accounts and
approve in GB&BOD and balance transfer to incoming
team.
7. Communication
Send Invoices to the members for dues
Correspondence to members regularly
Use technology Go green by emails etc.,
Send monthly accounts to District with Reports.
Present quarterly reports of the Club in GB/BOD
meetings.

Only Treasurer has privilege to make online payment.
view and print various reports,
29. Suspension and Cancellation of clubs
RECAPS are emailed to you at the beginning of each
month, for your review of club balances and aging.
Register online. Treasurers can pay online if the club
approves.
Club balances should be paid according to the terms
established by the association; however, to avoid
suspension, balances should be paid no later than 90
days after billing.
Club balances outstanding beyond 120 days can
cause clubs to be placed on suspension if balances
exceed US$20/member or $1,000, whichever is less.
30. District Convention (March & April)
Clubs in Good Standing are eligible to participate in local
elections. The current dues billing must be paid leaving no
International dues and fees greater than US$10.00 unpaid
and balances over 90 days must not exceed US$50.00.
Payment must be received 15 days prior to the Local
Convention.
