Since 2003, Globe 24-7 (Globe) has been conducting
Human Resources Consulting & Recruitment
assignments for mining companies around the world.
Our goal is to partner with companies who seek to build
great teams with contemporary, creative and custom-

Our global experience, combined with local expertise, has
become a critical element to our success.
Over the past 17 years, we have conducted hundreds of
HR assignments and recruited thousands of expatriates,
nationals and third-country nationals for small, mid and
large tier companies listed in the world’s major stock
exchanges through our international office locations.
Our assignments vary from one-off ad-hoc pieces of work
to long-term multi-faceted partnerships that extend for
many years. We know that success is to ensure that the
operations are the focus; our solutions can be in-country
or remotely. Our team can deliver assignments in 9
languages and most of our staff have worked or spent
time in remote mine site locations.

Alastair brings over 20 years’ experience within Africa,
Europe and Asia Pacific having worked in Global
Consulting, HR Director & Senior Commercial roles across a
range of industries, including mining and oil & gas. Alastair
has worked with both Fortune 100 and start-up companies
and holds an Honours degree in Industrial Psychology.
He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in
contemporary HR and talent acquisition practices and is
regarded as a thought leader, having regularly presented
and lectured at a variety of conferences and universities
globally.

Paul has worked in the mining industry for over 20 years
including operational site-based HR management roles for
both small and larger multi-national mining companies in
Australia, Africa, Asia Pacifc and North America including
Newmont Asia Pacifc, Western Mining Corporation, Placer
Dome, La Mancha Resources, Red Back Mining (now
Kinross Gold) and others. Paul is Globe’s Managing Director
founding the business in 2003 after spending 10+ years in
site-based HR Management roles in Western Australia.
Based in Perth Western Australia, Lachlan has spent 10
years performing corporate and site-based HR consulting
and search assignments for over 50 Australian, African and
South East Asian mining companies including Newmont
Mining Ltd, Newcrest Gold Ltd, Nevsun Resources Ltd,
Sherritt International, Kinross Gold Corp, Roxgold Inc, PMI
Gold & Endeavour Mining Corp. Lachlan travels frequently
to Africa, Europe and North America and has an extensive
network of senior level contacts within the industry. Lachlan
is widely regarded and is often sought to contribute to
various industry group forums such as AAMEG and AMMA.

Alain holds a Master Science in Global HR Management
and comes with 20 years HR experience in Human
Resources in operational and strategic roles, in
construction and mining, with a focus on Africa for
the last 10 years. Prior to joining Globe in 2018, he was
HR Director for Guinea Aluminum Corporation, based
in Guinea. Previously, he was the Group HR Manager
for ASX-Listed Sundance Resources for 6 years on the
US$6 billion Mbalam project in Republic of Congo and
Cameroon. Alain has spent much time in international
locations and his expertise encompasses HR strategies,
procedures and process, Performance Management and
Remuneration systems, systems and policies, IR & labour
negotiations, Employees Engagement, recruitment
and training, and community relations. Alain is fluent in
English & French.
Luis graduated from a Business Management program and
has been a leader in the recruitment and HR industry for
over 12 years. After spending three years in the HR team of
an engineering firm implementing the strategy and process
of the internal recruitment, he led the start up operation
in Brazil of a multinational contracting firm in the resource
industry, and is currently heading the development and the
operation in North America for Globe 24-7 Inc. Luis is fluent
in Portuguese and English and has deep understanding of
the resource and engineering industries in emerging regions,
including Africa having spent time at site in Burkina Faso,
Mali & Cote d’Ivoire.

Founded in 1999, Chance for Children provides an
opportunity to approximately 70 street children
to take control of their lives through experiencing
love and safety and receiving an education and
professional training to help them develop their
lives off the streets of Accra.
CHANCE FOR CHILDREN (GHANA)
In 2001 Rosie Marshale responded to need in her
community by establishing a Children’s Home
to provide a place of safety & care for orphaned
children. Today the Home cares for 140 – 160
children ranging from newborns to 19 years old and
is truly inspirational.
