2. How is the artist represented and
promoted in the digipak?
Here is digipak for The Script’s album “Science and Faith” The sleeve shows a
close up of the lead singer and a medium close up and a medium shot of the
other two members behind him; they are all posed in an indirect mode of address
looking away from the audience almost as if they are in deep thought, the genre
of this album is soft rock and indie rock with songs about life and
relationships, these images represent the genre of the album well, as they look
their songsand emotional. The cover of the

digipak shows a woman's and a mans hands
clasped together in unity and friendship this
reflects The Scripts songs about love, life, and
relationships. The back of the digipak is hands
placed together in a praying motion this
reflects the title of the album “Science and
Faith” this suggests that the band and album
is wholesome.

3. How has the colours represented the
artist and the genre?
The house colours used are sand, black and white. The front and back of the digipak
use these colours to match the image on the sleeve in the dessert and the bands
outfit (black jackets, shirts and suits) these colours are nude, natural and bare
almost of if its been striped away from anything else and focuses purely on the
genre of the songs. These colours are also soft which again, reflects the genre of soft
rock.

4. How is the packaging laid out?
What information does it give?
The packaging follows the typical conventions of an average digipak; the
front cover includes the album title along with the name of the band and
the back including a track list, barcode, record label and the copy right
information. However the track list is much smaller and not so dominant
unlike typical digipaks, this digipak mainly focuses on the images of the
hands rather than the other elements, but they are still easily identified.
The back also gives the bands website so the audience can access more
information on the band.
