The steps to draw a 'circle' in the 3D view (making it an oval).

3. Add centre
lines to your
60 x 60 x 60mm
isometric square

4. Draw the lines as
shown. Make sure
you draw from the
wide corners
towards the
opposite centre
lines.

5. Do the same for
the other side from
the other wide
corner

6. The red lines
will be the radii
for circles that
you are now
only going to
draw towards
your guidelines

7. Do the same on
the other side

8. The ‘isometric circle’ is
now complete. Try to
do it on different 30
degree angles.
