2. COLLABORATION
• In this rubric the teacher, teach the learners to work together to share
responsibilities, ideas and reflect together. This help the teacher to be able to
assess learners participation in those group works, it help learners to be able
to help each other by sharing their knowledge and they also gain team work
skills, and be able to solve complex problem together and make decisions
together.
3. Knowledge construction
Teachers are teaching learners content and encourage them to seek for more
information at their own, since teachers are the facilitators of knowledge they
only guide, manage and assist learners where they come across with difficulties.
Some learners construct knowledge when the teacher is teaching, and others
they prefer working for them selves seeking ideas and understanding meaning
for themselves. Therefore learners who construct knowledge for themselves
makes teachers work to be easy because he/she will assess them on what they
already know
4. Self regulation
• Ict needs learners who self regulated, learners who are able to take care of
themselves, who are organized, who are planning their work and those who
work hard. Therefore the teachers are encouraging and motivating the
learners to work hard and construct knowledge for their self so that they will
achieve their goals and be successful in life. Teachers are guiding learners
towards their bright future and help them to acquire the knowledge and
production in the process of teaching and learning.
5. Ict use in education
• Teachers are implementing the use of ict in the classroom by promoting
learners to use computers on their daily basis. Teachers are using ict tools in
order to make their work easy and to make their content interesting to
learners, for example, during the invitation phase in the lesson plan teachers
uses videos, posts, movies, recording etc in order to give the learners clue
about the content. The learners will also gain computer skills that will help
them at the end of their schooling year and in future.
6. Real world and problem solving
This rubric checks whether the teacher is he/she relate the curriculum to the
experiences and situation that are happening in the real world. The teacher does
this by inviting learners prior knowledge so that they will reflect with what they
know and be able to solve problems that are general. Therefore learners will gain
the skills of solving problems and decision making, because they will be doing
something that they have prior knowledge about.
7. Skilled communication
• This rubric checks whether the teacher is he/she teaching learners
communication skills, in the use of ict such as using formal language and
keep their digital citizenship formal and professional. They will do this in
through communicating in verbal, visual, written, recorded and electronic.
For example communication in the classroom, computer laboratories, in
social networks, internet and in website.
