1. Make Notes.
For my school advertisement I went out and took around 50 photos of different sections
of the school. I picked one of them photos out and made a a4 sketch of it in black and
white.The photo I chose to sketch was one of the bistro that I took from a high angle
shot standing on the chair. the reason i chose to take this picture was because I feel it is a
big part of the school. even though it is not the sixth form bistro i want to show in my
advert that the sixth form is not completely segregated from the lower school. I want the
advert to have a community feel in that the sixth formers help the lower school, I also
want the bistro to feature in my advert and show the job opportunities the sixth form
students will have at lunch and break times.
This is the high angle shot that i took of the bistro i
think it is a good picture and shows that the school is
very modernised in the way it runs . It shows that we
are a environmentally cautious school. the art portrait at
the very back of the wall portrays us as creative in the
way we decorate the school and the we like to include
the students work around the school. the picture is
bright and clean which i think will represent the school.

2. Make Notes.
• Apart from the picture i sketched i took many more pictures from different areas of
the school.Another area that i want to focus on is the sixth form centre itself.The
two pictures that i took of the sixth form centre was one of the sofa area and one
showing the computer area in sixth form. I chose to take these pictures at this time
to show a relaxed feel in the sixth form centre. the common room is going to feature
in most of ny advertisement video and i wanted to show that it is a laid back area for
potential sixth form students. i deliberately wanted to include current students in my
picture instead of it being an empty room.
The two pictures that i took of the outside benches where mainly to show what
part of the school will be featuring in my advertisement. as well as to show the
modernised benches that the school has.

3. Make Notes.• These pictures that i took where to show the new recent school shop that
the school now has.Also to show the new house system that the school will
be putting in place as of next year.This shows that the school as a whole is
constantly coming up with fresh ideas. Sixth formers will be in charge of the
house system as head of houses. It makes it clear to potential students that
the sixth form offer lots of different roles for sixth formers to gain
leadership experience as well confidence.
