This document provides summaries for 8 pictures taken at Plumstead Manor School. The pictures show the school motto, a study area used by sixth form students, clean corridors with classrooms and notice boards, a student study area from above, outdoor facilities like table tennis, the structure of classrooms with computers and a student working, lockers available to all sixth form students, and an inspiring quote about working hard and never giving up.

1. Evaluating images

2. We took this picture because it has the
moto of the school which is ‘Success and
Harmony’ and this picture clearly shows
that every time you enter the school, it
would remind you of it which will allow you
to work harder in lessons. We took the
picture from this angle because you can
clearly read it. The lighting was not the best,
however the main purpose of this picture
was to show the moto of Plumstead Manor
School.

3. Picture 2
I decided to take this picture because it
shows the study area of Sixth Form. This
is also the area where most people have
lunch. The picture clearly shows the
facilities we have, such as computers.
There is a TV/Computer attached and
that is used to present any news etc. to
the students. The main point of this
picture is that it shows students
working in their study periods. There
are also tables provided for students to
sit and work to give them that
classroom environment.

4. Picture 3
The main purpose of this picture
was to show the corridors. The
space is clean and the way it is
structured is good. We took
picture from this angle because
it shows that on one side the
classrooms. There are bins
which would prevent littering.
The printer is also another
facility we have which is used for
many purposes. In addition,
there are noticeboards put
around t update us with any
recent events etc.

5. Picture 4 We took this picture from
the angle above so we can
see the students working in
the study area underneath.
This way it will show the
whole space. Again, you can
see computers and students
working in their study
periods. You can also see
that there is quite a lot of
space provided for students
to work at.

6. Picture 5
This picture was taken outside
the Lerner building to show
the structure of the Sixth
Form building and facilities
provided for them at free
time. There are table tennis
and benches so they have
something to do at lunch also.

This picture was simply taken
to show the structure of the
classrooms. There are few
computers in the classrooms
as well.
There are notice boards in
every classroom and you can
see a student working in this
classroom too.
The lighting was not great
because of the windows,
however overall we managed
to take this picture.

8. Picture 7
This picture was taken on the top
floor of the Lerner building to show
the facilities of lockers for all the
students in the Sixth Form. This
corridor is full of lockers so the
maximum lockers can be provided for
every one to have one of their own.
There is also lights which can be seen
as decoration. There are notice
boards here too and few class room
on the side but we were just trying to
show the lockers as our main theme
in this picture.

9. Picture 8
Lastly, this picture shows how
we have inspiring quotes to
keep us going and work harder
in lessons. Its purpose is to
make us stronger and never
give up in life. We thought it
was one of the pictures which
shows the motive of coming to
school.
