2. • This is Bethan, I believe that Bethan would be a suitable
model to use for my magazine as she is very versatile enough
to fit the chosen genre (indie rock). She is very willing to
follow directions for possible poses and is confident in front
of the camera. She would be easy to work with as she knows
how to stand and present herself. Her fashion style would
also fit into my genre and her overall look and expression of
attitude also would work well.
3. This is Felan. I think Felan would be a good model to use because
of his scruffy-like hair and general look. His style also would fit the
genre of my magazine, he is easy to work with and gives off a
reckless look about him which would be useful for my magazine.
4. This is Emma. I chose her as a potential model because of her long hair
that also resembles a member from the indie rock band called ‘haim’.
Also, using Emma would allow me to use lots of editing techniques due
to her long brown hair. However Emma is quite shy in front of the
camera and would reduce the amount of flexibility of styles and shots to
work with.
5. I think chandler would be a suitable model to feature in
my magazine because is confident in front of the camera
and would help me explore my chosen genre’s
presentation of models. Her long hair would able me to
explore various effects when editing and also represents
members of indie rock bands as I have found through
researching.
6. This is jess. I think that jess would be a good model to use as her
vibrant hair is similar to Florence Welch’s which features on the
‘NME’ cover I am inspiring my cover to look like. I think that with
some editing it would look similar to that cover/ resemble the
cover significantly. I think that Jess’ pale complexion and dark
eyebrows resemble that of a lot of indie rock artists/band
members as this is their recognisable look which would help my
magazines genre be more recognisable. I think jess would look
great on the cover of my magazine and she is confident in front of
the camera. Also her style is easy to work with as it suits my genre
well.
