This
workshop
will
focus
on
some
of
the
key
Personal
Development
elements
of
the
student’s
MyCareerMatch
Profile.
This
workshop
is
suitable
for
students
from
Year
10
to
Year
12.
Using
a
series
of
short,
focused
activities
students
will
have
an
opportunity
to
gain
a
better
insight
into
their
own
personality
style
as
well
as
that
of
other
people.
Content
is
customizable
and
can
include:
• Understanding
their
own
personality
‘style’
• Produce
a
positive,
affirming
“I
AM”
statement.
• Experience
the
different
ways
each
style
approaches
life.
• See
how
the
different
“styles
in
action”
is
used
to
generate
interest
and
involvement
in
the
media
and
how
this
can
apply
to
any
workplace.
• Take
ownership
of
at
least
one
personal
development
issue
they
will
address.
• Better
understand
themselves
and
how
they
can
better
interact
with
others
at
school,
home,
or
work.
• Gain
an
insight
into
a
range
of
relevant
career
and
study
pathways
based
on
their
career
profiles.
• How
to
use
their
profile
content
to
enhance
their
Resumé
• Be
aware
of
and
able
to
make
use
of
the
other
resources
in
www.MyCareerMatch.com.au

Workshop
Requirements:
• Students
will
require
a
printout
of
their
completed
Career
Profile
and
pens
for
writing.
• Group
Size
should
be
in
the
order
of
20
students
(min
12
/
max
30).
• A
suitable
size
screen
and
data
projector
(can
be
supplied
if
not
available).
• A
room
suitable
for
students
to
move
around
and
sit
in
four
separate
groups
based
on
personality
style
for
some
exercises.
• A
Master
Copy
of
the
Workshop
Summary
Handout
will
be
provided
prior
to
the
workshop
session
for
the
school
to
arrange
photocopying
to
match
student
numbers.
Workshops
are
run
from
an
hourly
rate
of
$250
and
can
run
up
to
90
minutes
depending
on
content.
