Emily conducted an experiment launching a paper airplane 6 times under different conditions to observe the effects on distance traveled and time aloft. She predicted the plane would fly over 1 meter each time. Her observations found that folding the elevators down caused the plane to fly downward, while adding a paperclip to the nose did not significantly affect flight distance or time, which she attributed mostly to how hard she threw the plane.
