Religious Influence Of Tolerance In The British Colonies
Tolerance in the British colonies varied, mainly depending on the diversity levels where they were founded. In some of the colonies, there were laws
established so the importance of Christianity would be conserved. Other colonies were welcoming to different religions, and executed either limited or
full tolerance for those religions. Unfortunately, colonies that were bigoted enough to damage fabrications of differing religious views or the belief
itself existed.
Throughout the British colonies, different laws based off of religious view were formed in order to preserve Christianity and drive away any religion
that didn't praise God. In Pennsylvania, there was a law enacted by the founder of the province, William Penn, that denied anyone to practice any
religion that didn't recognize God as creator of the world. If anyone was to disobey this law, they would molested or would be prejudiced for their
conflicting practice. Additionally, the law stated if someone weren't to worship God, and showed it outside of their own home, they would be
considered a disturber of peace, and would be punished appropriately. A similar law was ratified previously in the charter of Rhode Island, where
someone could be disquieted, punished, and called in for questioning if they had an opposing opinion of religion. Other laws that reinforced

Effie Dinkelacker: A Brief Biography
When we think of famous missionaries, the ones that often come to mind are Jim Elliot, David Livingstone, and Mary Cloutier. But I am here to
introduce you to a new missionary that served in modern day China. Her name is Effie Irene Dinkelacker. I have looked online and found out that God
used her as a missionary in China, a loving wife, a professor at Temple University, and a Godly woman who had more faith than I can even imagine.
The youngest of six, Effie Dinkelacker was born on September 11th of 1893 in Lattimer Pennsylvania. She lived on a farm for the beginning of her
life, living in a very rural part of the state of Pennsylvania she quickly realized that she was called to be a medical missionary so she went off to

When established, the British colonies had three divisions which are New England, Middle, and the Southern. Each of these geographic regions had
some developments which were unique and different from other sectors. Some of the stark differences were because of geopolitical, religious,
economic, and social factors. Although all regions were marked by tremendous growth, they experienced differences in their management style and
trading pact. The New England Colonies included the colonies of Connecticut, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, Massachusetts, and
Province of New Hampshire. The colonies were where the Englishmen settled and lived. Their economy, religion, and politics grew gradually due to
various factors which include the community setting where lands were separated into small portions. The settlers of the New England traded sugar and
molasses with other parts of the world. Also, this colony practiced subsistence farming where they produced enough food for their family need. Before
farming, these colonies had small–scale factories and built ships to improve their economy. They were Puritans. They formed this religion after freeing
from the Church of England. The colony also had communities that lived close to each other and watched out on their fellows. As a result, the Puritans

When a person thinks of an education system, they most likely think of the education system that was in place when they went to school. That system
however had many different influences to become what it was. Some of those influences came from the different regions in the American colonial time.
In American colonial time, the Europeans who were settling along the coast all shared a general culture and heritage. They however had differences
when it came to their economic, political and religious beliefs. Those main factors, as well as others, such as language and geography, motivated them
to split into different colonies. Those colonies can be grouped into three regions which are the New England, the southern and the Middle Atlantic
colonies. Since each region had their differences, with the main difference being the type of religion practiced, each region had a different style for
education. The New England colonies included Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. They followed the views of the
Puritanism and Calvinism. The Puritan belief system did not have a lot of patience with children, and they expected them to act as if they were young
adults. One view on children was that "They were small savages who needed constant upbraiding and discipline to curb their evil inclinations and
