Presidential Election Of The United States
After almost two years on the campaign trail, the United States of America has finally elected its new president, Donald Trump. No that is not a typo,
this is real life. It was a hard fought battle between Hillary Clinton and the Donald which ultimately lead to one of the most shocking upsets in recent
American politics. Being that the odds were heavily stacked against Trump as poll after poll predicted Clinton be the victor, it was to the astonishment
of many that he reigned victorious during this 2016 presidential election cycle. Be it the will of the country (or in this case electoral college ) this
poisonous cheeto will now be the 45th president of the United States. So how did this happen, what was it about Trump that pushed voter behavior in
his favor in many key battleground states? Trumps victory lies in the hands of the silent majority who at this point were dying for change and saw it
within the republican nominee. The biggest contributing factor to Trump's win on November 8 was retrospective voting which a lot of voters clearly
engaged in this election cycle. When making the decision of who to vote for during an election, voters often tend to start looking within at their own
situation before throwing their support at a candidate. Questioning whether ones is better off now than they were before the previous election is known
as retrospective voting. This concept is the idea that voters take into consideration factors such as the performance a political party ,

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest By Donald Trump
Donald Trump 's run for presidency brings faithful supporters, angry critics, and a plethora of headlines. Supportive followers ignore the plentiful
reasons that deem Trump unfit for presidency. For example, on several occasions comments and statements made by Trump paint him as sexist and
racist. In addition, Trump shares similarities with Adolf Hitler, an unsettling realization. However, those who supportDonald Trump argue that his
economic experience as well as his honesty outweigh the long list of his faults.
America, a country considered a melting pot, requires a president capable of accepting those of different races and religions. Donald Trump's openly
racist remarks disqualify him from holding presidency. In a speech, Trump made the "assertion that all Muslim people should be barred from entering
the U.S." (Pulliman–Moore). In response, "White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest" stated ""What Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him
from serving as president"" (Pulliman–Moore). In addition, "House Speaker Paul Ryan insisted that religious freedom was a "fundamental
Constitutional principle"" (Pulliman–Moore). Trump clearly crossed the line with his comment. Displaying islamophobia violates the right of religious
freedom, as granted by the First Amendment. Presidential obligations include respecting and upholding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and
Trump proves incapable of carrying out that responsibility.
In addition to racism, Trump proves sexist as

The Language Of Silence By Maxine Hong Kingston
Language is much more than a method of communication. Permeated within it are traditions, customs, and legacies of one's culture. The identity of an
entire population is in the distinct vocalizations of their native language. Unfortunately, as a wave of immigrants enters the United States at young ages,
many face language barriers that pose significant challenges. Language barriers affect a multitude of immigrant populations to different degrees. This,
in turn, causes many of them to abandon not only their native tongue but a piece of their ethnic identity, as well. In Maxine Hong Kingston's personal
narrative,"The Language of Silence," she describes the difficulties she experienced throughout her childhood with a language barrier as a... Show more

Spanish is my native language, however, my mother advised my siblings and I to speak only English. This was because she was afraid that we would
be rejected from professional careers if our English wasn 't unaccented, fluent, and similar in refinement to the working class whites. With time, I
became a fluent English speaker with a developed Central American accent but like, any other young girl, I thought nothing of it. That is until one
event, in particular, occurred that would cast a shadow of embarrassment onto my Spanish language. This event not only led me to desert my entire
native language but a sense of my cultural identity, as well.
Every afternoon, my mother would take my siblings and I down to the community park. It was a tradition of sorts. The leaves on the trees were
brown, only days past Halloween. I sat under the dappled afternoon sun and played in the sand. On this particular day, however, a young girl
approached me. Confused, I offered her a friendly smile but was, instead, greeted by the sand she kicked in my direction. Once my mother took
notice of this, she came forward and placed a hand over the young girl's leg without physically touching her. "Stop," she said. With this one word, the
girl ran off. After a minute or so, an older woman approached my mother and I, with a string of curse words. It was the parent of the girl from earlier.

Donald Trump 's Building A Wall Across The Entire Border...
While there may be some truth to parts of Donald Trump's claims, such as the costs that have been incurred, but his overall plan is quite radical. The
idea of building a wall across the entire southeastern border is extremely radical in itself. Trump compares the simplicity of such a wall to the 95–story
skyscrapers he has built. Ali F. Rhuzkan has tackled the topic of the reality of a President Trump building a wall across the entire Mexican
–American
border in his article on the National Memo. Rhuzkan claims that the main problems with Trump's proposed wall are not technical problems, but
logistical ones. Rhuzkan points out that "Trump's border wall, if built as he has described it, would be one of the largest civil works projects in the
history of the country and would face an array of challenges not found when constructing 95–story skyscrapers" (Rhuzkan). Rhuzkan also points out
what Trump's wall would need in order to be functionally effective and also cost–effective. "A successful border wall must be effective, cheap, and
easily maintained. It should be built from readily available materials and should take advantage of the capabilities of the existing labor force. The wall
should reach about five feet underground to deter tunneling, and should terminate about 20 feet above grade to deter climbing" (Rhuzkan). Unlike
Donald Trump's wall, Ted Cruz's idea for technologically supported fencing would be far more cost–effective, easier to assemble, and could also be

The New York Times Of India, And The Guardian The United...
The three different newspaper article providers that I chose are the New York Times, The Times of India, and The Guardian the United Kingdom
edition. The article that I chose to compare between the three of them is about President Trump choosing his security advisors. I thought that it would
be something that would spark many different opinions on a recent debate would be interesting to explore. The article itself is about President Trump
choosing three of his new advisors for CIA Director which he appointed Mike Pompeo, for Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, and for National Security
Advisor, Michael T. Flynn. It will be interesting to see what these newspapers have to say about their opinion of these men and how they portray them.
The problem for many people is that people are afraid of what Donald Trump is going to try and do with the United States government during his four
years in the presidential seat. With his selection of who he has asked to be leaders within his cabinet is another problem that the newly elected
President is going to have to face in the coming months. Many people in the U.S. are upset over his picks due to the fact that they feel that they will be
unfair and possibly unjust to the immigrants living within the U.S. While the other portion of people here are looking forward to a new positive
change within their government with the new conservative leaders.

V For Vendetta Essay
Tarunpreet Singh Ms. Redd English 12 24 October,2017 Shenanigans of the government In the world that we live in right now, anything is possible
and that is for the good and the bad. Like represented in the novel, "1984" by George Orwell, the party used technology to make a whole new society
that goes by the rules of the party, which just means that anything that the party does is justifiable because they are the ones making the rules and
anybody who doesn't obey them gets "vaporized". Another example of the government controlling the people and invading their rights for the benefit
of the government is the movie "V for Vendetta" directed by James McTeigue in 2006. After reading "1984" and "V for Vendetta", some might wonder

Another type of surveillance was that the part used children,"With those children, he thought, that wretched woman must lead a life of terror.
Another year, two years, and they would be watching her night and day for symptoms of unorthodoxy. Nearly all children nowadays were horrible.
What was worst of all was that by means of such organizations as the Spies they were systematically turned into ungovernable little savages, and yet
this produced in them no tendency whatever to rebel against the discipline of the Party. On the contrary, they adored the Party and everything
connected with it"(24,Orwell). This quote shows that the party used children to spy on their parents and other individuals. The children have been
brainwashed since they were born, this is another tactic the party used to make sure that it stays in power because if they can move the youth to
their side, the whole nation will follow. We might not know it but our government might just be looking through our electronics and keep an eye on
us. Technology is good for us but it has been exploited in so many different negative ways that it would be better if we did not have electronics
because we would still have our privacy. "V for Vendetta" uses similar tactics as us and "1984" to keep a close eye on the people of the nation. In the
movie, they used cameras, telescreens, taped phones, fingermen, etc. as surveillance tools to

President Of The United States
"His power, his passion, is the fabric of America. And it's woven by work ethic and dreams and drive and faith in the Almighty, what a
combination." (S, Palin) Donald Trump is powerful, persuasive and risky. As a candidate for President of the United States, Trump stands strong to
purported morals. His campaign video depicts him as the "ultimate candidate"; an individual is who has the ability to stand up for middle class
American's yet be strong enough to institute change, which the Obama administration has been perceived as failing to do. However we are also able
to see how Trump has used his power to shape his ideal self into something he is not. Someone who uses codes and signifiers in his favour to fabricate
new ideas and conventions.
Donald Trump has a strident voice, but those who stand with him appear silent in stark contrast. The reason for this being that Trump's campaign,
even down to his fan base, is centred on oppression. His goal is to appeal to middle class, white citizens who feel that they have been deprived of the
American Dream. That is; the ideal that "every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work,
determination, and initiative" (Oxford Dictionaries). He targets this subgroup and directs their resentment to the people who have tarnished this
'American Dream'. For example, Trump has voiced that he wants to deport all Mexicans and build a wall between the borders demonstrating his strong
motive to

Conservative Views Of The Republican Party Of 2016
I've spent a lot of time recently reading conservative explanations of "Why I support Donald Trump." Interestingly they often don't articulate any
policy issues, but rather attack the alternatives. I read one particularly weak argument (bereft of any facts) that said "If Bernie wins we'll have a
socialist president, and that is really scary!" It is this subject that I'd like to address: the unreasonable, rampant fear of socialism in America today. The
Republican party of 2016 is hard to define, but one characteristic that stands out is their abject hatred (or fear of) socialism. They lashed out at the
Affordable Care Act and president Obama as being socialist and have made the claim that it is greatest current threat to America. Really?
Socialism. There are not many words that are more feared and/or hated in America during the last 8 years. It's the monster that hides under your
bed when you're young. You're not quite sure what the monster looks like, but you know it is something to be afraid of. You've watched too many
Friday the 13th movies. People can't explain the monster, but they know it's under there. You've never risked taking the time to look under your bed
for it, and instead have relied on the rants and whispers of other kids who ensure you the monsters are very real. Socialism. The word conjures up
views and ideas of an intrusive Big Brother. They will tell us where to work, what to wear, what to buy and how to think. We'll wake up one day

Tv Advertisement : A Way Of Reaching People Since The 1920s
TRUMPing the Competition
TV advertisement has been a way of reaching people since the 1920s. Today is no different as Donald Trump reaches out in multi–medias to try and
gain support for his presidential campaign this year. Trumps first advertisement is titled "Motherhood", and rightfully so. It talks about what he plans to
do to help mothers further their careers, while raising children. In this ad his daughter, Ivanka Trump (who has two kids of her own) is the
spokesperson. "Epic", the second advertisement, is clips of news casts, interviews, rallies, and campaigns pieced together to promote the image and the
mass support of Donald Trump. This advertisement was made earlier in the race and has a very broad over view of what policies he is planning to use
to "Make America Great Again". While both advertisements shed light on the candidate's campaign and his future policies, the "Motherhood ad focuses
on the future of American mothers and building new opportunities for them, so they aren't limited to being housewives, and the Epic ad is geared
towards his policy of immigration, and mostly his triumph of gaining supporters across the country.
In "Motherhood," a thirty second policy ad on the hardships of women in society, Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump speaks to the plans of aiding
women's future in education and healthcare. The ad begins with a mother and son smiling and laughing while Ivanka speaks in the background. She is
introducing herself. It pans to pictures of her

Who is Donald Duck?
Full Name: Donald Fauntleroy Duck
Birthdate: Egg hatched June 9, 1934 (Egg laid Friday, March 13, 1934)
Besides in my opinon, being the greatest cartoon character ever, Donald is the one in the little blue suit that is more often in a rage than not. His
personality shows through actions. He gives new meaning to the phrase: "Actions speak louder than words." His lines are few and almost
indecipherable, forcing his actions to speak the volumeof his parts. His personality makes his character almost unpredictable and yet so predictable.

Immigration Through The Eyes Of Donald Trump
Immigration through the Eyes of Donald Trump Make America great again! As Donald Trump's slogan goes on to say; but what does it mean to make
America great again? Does it mean we need to deport all the immigrants back to their country? Seems like Donald Trump has an idea about what can
be done to improve our country. Trump has to be the most controversial presidential candidate running in the 2016 election, and his opinion about the
immigration policy is his most talked about issue that continues to be involved in his campaign. Throughout the presidential campaign, Donald Trump
has been the center of attention when it comes to the topic of immigration. The media has clamped onto the talk of Trump wanting to build a wall
between the U.S and Mexico, all while having the immigrants build it. With the use of media, Trump has been able to create a sense of fear that the
immigrants bring violence and crime to our country, as well as his intention of wanting to create a whole new system and to create a secure country.
To start off, Donald Trump has taken into account that using fear as a tactic to help further him along in the election is right way to go. According to
the article The Politics of Fear: Why Donald Trump is no Laughing Matter it states, "After all, the United States is a country that is often moved by
fear and hatred, rather than love for fellow citizens" (Anderson, William). It has shown all throughout our history that fear is a way to get the people to

Liberty And Justice For All
Liberty and Justice for All?
"Behind this mask there is more than just flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea... and ideas are bulletproof."–V (1988). An inspiring and truthful
quote on the sheer immorality of a mindset and ideals. While this quote is meant to speak for the good and righteous things humans stand for to
protect their liberties and "freedoms", this quote brings to light a sad and dark truth. That creeds of hate, creeds that are only satisfied by the
degradation of thy neighbor and implosion of any societal progress humanity has made since The Emancipation Proclamation outlawed slavery in the
US in 1865, will never be destroyed or ever truly broken down. These criminal unnatural acts against humanity, performed by both notorious hate
groups and everyday citizens, have been tearing at the moral and social fiber of this once proud nation for years. If the federal government does not
intervene and take a far more aggressive stance against these crimes and misdeeds, then these vile acts will diminish any hope left for social
redemption into idealistic dust.
Before fully diving into these terrible and unbelievable crimes, it must be stated that from this point on that there is no such things as "an innocent
joke" or "It was taken out of context. There is only black and white truth, that these are crimes against humanity and the peace to which we have strived
for centuries to obtain, yet will never accomplish. Now, with that being said, into point 1. On June 17,

At some point in our lives, we all have desired Power, but what is power exactly? And why everyone these days seems to pursue it no matter what?
For example, Donald Trump a powerful entrepreneur, a business man; not having enough with his success, now trying to be the leader of an entire
nation.
Power is defined as the ability to do something or behave in a particular way, especially as a faculty or quality. The real question here is not what

With my new position I didn't forget that one day I was one of them, on the contrary with every different situation I've always tried to be very
understanding, and as fair as possible, but always keeping the hierarchy of my position clear. Despite the authority and power that I had, I always
tried to make good things, and use that power to get the best out of my subordinates, and never abuse of this power. Above the supervisors, were the
managers making sure that we were doing an excellent job, also in a higher rank were the Directors, and above them the CEO.
Another thing that changed with my promotions, was the people I associated with. For example, at lunch time I didn't have lunch with my old customer
service representatives coworkers, now I had lunch with the supervisors or even with the managers. Probably I was following the advice of the
ex–president Eisenhower of: "Always try to associate yourself with and learn as much as you can from those who know more than you, who do better
than you, who see clearly than you".
Power sometimes causes a lot of problems, and people often tend to think of power as an evil thing, because it's so easy to abuse. The way of
thinking that power corrupts has a variety of evidence. For example, Adolf Hitler was a powerful man followed by many, and he used and abused of

The Presidential Election For The First Time
This November I get to exercise my constitutional right to vote in the presidential election for the first time. This opportunity is something that I
have looked forward to for a very long time. I've developed a rather heavy interest in politics over the past year or so, and have been actively
following the race to the presidency between Clinton and Trump. But despite my interest in politics, I have been rather quiet on Facebook about
my political beliefs and my feelings on this election. While this is in part due to my lack of desire to post my political beliefs for the web, it is
mostly because this election, I 'm doing something that would shock my younger self; I am voting for Clinton. Yes, I am voting for Clinton. And
no, it is not just because I am 18 years old and living in a college town in one of the most liberal parts of Indiana. If I 'm being honest, I wanted to
throw my vote away to a third party candidate for awhile. But ultimately, I decided that it would be better to throw my support behind one of the
major candidates. So after lots of critical analysis of both candidates, including looking at their backgrounds and what their plans for our country are, I
came to my decision. I know that many of my Facebook friends are Republican through and through. And I 'm willing to bet that this is because of their
Christian faith. Growing up a Christian, I think it's considered the "norm" to throw your allegiance at the Republican candidate. Typically, the
candidate holds

Leadership Qualities Of An Effective Leader
Leadership: the definition states that someone in the position of leader, who guides or directs a group. This definition is hauntingly broad to me.
Leadership, I believe, is not an idea that can be defined. It is instead an exemplary action by a single person whose best interest lies with the
betterment of the group, and not himself. The qualities of an effective leader are apparent in Lord of the Flies. As for an effective leader in today's
society, this essay will analyze the leadership qualities of the Republican and Democratic front runners in the current political race.
A leader displays great knowledge, great charisma, and unwavering courage. These characteristics are best shown by Ralph in Lord of the Flies.
What makes Ralph such a great leader is the fact that while he is just a kid, he possesses the maturity to know what needs to be done in order to
save them from being stranded on the island. His first priority is to get the other kids off the island, despite the temptation to play and enjoy
themselves. Credit Piggy as Ralph's advisor, as Piggy clearly shows his wealth of knowledge throughout the story. Together the two show great
knowledge by deciding to build a signal fire, organizing groups of workers, hunters, and gatherers, and knowing what needs to be done. Because
Ralph truly knows what needs to be done and how it needs to get done, I believe also displays his charisma. All the children on the island are led to
listen to Ralph because he knows what is

Effects Of The Superpacs Is Something Americans Are...
Research Paper Political Science
The effects of the SuperPACs is something Americans are hearing more and more about in the 2016 campaign. Do Americans have a good
understanding of what SuperPACs are and how they can affect the Presidential election.? This is something that needs to be discussed. As Americans,
don't we have the right to know who is financing the elections? These are only a few of the questions many people should be asking themselves.
The history of the government attempting to reform or suppress candidate donations for the office of presidency goes further back than you may
think. In 1971, Congress passed the Federal Elections Campaign Act (FECA). This was important because it was to set limits on the amount of money
campaigns could spend on advertisement and mandated the reporting of the source of funds to the federal government (Magleby, Light, &
Nemacheck, 2015, p. 249). According to Magleby, after the major scandal of Watergate, Congress made stricter laws regarding limitations on spending
and contributions of the candidates. Congress created the Federal Elections Commission (FEC); accordingly, the responsibilities of the FEC are to
inforce the laws set forth by the FECA.
Next, in 2002, Congress passed the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA), while President George W. Bushheld office (Magleby, Light, &
Nemacheck, 2015, p. 250). The BCRA bill was extremely important because individuals were the focal point of campaign contributions along with

It's Complicated: An Appalachian, Southern Liberal's View on Why Trump Won I am an early riser. It isn't surprising, then, that on Election Night,
despite Wolf Blitzer's attention–disordered, apoplectic news coverage of Trump's impending election, I was calm, even haughty as I tromped off to
bed before 10 p.m. "What's going on with you?" My husband asked. We are political allies, a hive mind really, and he couldn't fathom my apparent
calm. He was simultaneously watching TV, checking his computer, texting friends and mentally calculating electoral college permutations. He
may have had an abacus nearby. "There isn't anything I can do about it. I have practice in the morning. I'm gong to bed." And I did. What I didn't

we would all be fine. No reason to sleep through Wednesday morning Masters practice. No reason to get my blood up. This was all just algebra.

Different Forms Of Literature Display Multiple Scenarios
Have you ever considered the different ways one's family makes an influence on how individuals view themselves? Many different forms of
literature display multiple scenarios where the parents or sibling's perception of the world altar their own judgments of life or possibly even oneself.
Think for a moment, from childhood the person or persons that you are the most familiar with most likely are the very people that you interact with
on a daily basis. Most of the time, it would be your family or siblings that reside with you in your household. For example, a male who has continuously
watched his father abuse his mother may one day become physically aggressive with his future companion or might even want to make sure he never
puts his hands on any woman based on how it affects his mother. The way a person grows up and the influences that individual encounters can
completely change the character of just about any human. Judgment from the ones who you consider family occasionally alters more than just an
injured self–esteem but overall the perception they have for themselves.
When the 'The Rich Brother' begins, the author, Tobias Wolff, provides information on how the two brothers Pete and Donald were complete
opposites when it came to their personalities and the way they viewed life. The fact that their parents were both deceased could have carried a toll on
Donald, the brother who was obsessed with purifying everyone's soul, which could possibly be the reason why he took

Donald Trump And The President Of The United States Essay
Will Donald Trump fulfill America's request and actually "make America great again"? When friends of mine who are Trump supporters inform me
that they support him, I don't understand the reasons why they picture him as our future president of the united states. Donald Trump has never been
an elected official. He has never been elected into an office of any kind. He's never had to broker political compromise or gave any political speeches
prior to him running for president. With no experience in politics at all, why would people think he'd make a good president? Sure, Donald Trump is a
barefaced self–promoter and experienced businessman. But people don't realize all of the mistakes he has made as a businessman. Washington,
D.C., is not a type of Wall Street or anything for him to lose money or make some reckless decisions that would put our country into a deeper hole
that we are already into, and also getting multiple things done within the nation's capital takes more than a huge personality and a strong will. If
Donald Trump is elected to be our president, he'll have to quickly learn how to deal with his Democratic associates in the House of Representatives
and Senate. He'll also have to get used to the pace of government because there are moments when things can accelerate pretty quickly and also where
things can move extremely slow at times. He'll also have to get used to giving speeches on topics he may not be interested in, especially when it comes
to conversations

Analysis Of Donald Trump 's Presidential Election
Chelsy Henline

Political Science 101
26 April 2016
Candidate Comparison Have you ever felt like an outsider? Did you ever feel like you didn't fit in and you weren't accepted? Well, I don't think it's
much of a problem for the outsiders in this upcoming presidential election. The presidential candidates, Donald J. Trump and Bernie Sanders, are
known as the "outsiders" of the election but, are gaining so much support and acceptance. Sanders is a highly Liberal candidate who wishes for many
free social systems for the United states while Trump is a conservative business man who wishes to "Make America Great Again" ("About Donald...").
The people that are voting for Trump are not going to back down any time soon or change their minds but, when it comes down to a general election,
the majority of the United States population seems to side with Bernie Sanders. Donald Trump is a very successful business man that is just trying his
hand in politics this election. He was born in Queens, New York on the fourteenth of June in 1946 and later graduated business school at the Warton
School of Finance. Other than the acting chairman and president of his own organization, Trump has become a successful author of over 15
bestselling books including "The Art of the Deal." He is also an Emmy nominee for his show "The Apprentice" which coined the phrase "you're
fired!"("About Donald J. Trump"). Though he may not have much governing experience, he sure has gotten a lot

Trolls, Sexism And Women Online
While doing the presentation on the topic of trolls, sexism and women online, there are few learning outcomes that are clearly being drawn. For this
piece I will be exploring the example that used in the presentation. I will begin with acts in the example and finished with discussing are there and
moral conflict between two sides of the voice.
The example we used in the presentation is Lushsux who is a boundary–pushing street artist drew Hillary Clinton wearing swimsuit with
stars–and–stripes print on a wall in Footscray West. He asked for permission from the localbusiness owner before he do the mural. After Lushsux
publish the mural on Instagram and people started to posting on Instagram and twitter, the mural was given an additional of US dollar bills stuffed
down. Later on, Lushsux's Instagram account was blocked and local government started to said it is offensive to draw a "nearly–naked" women. Then
Lushsux paint her into a Muslim women and leave a message "If you do consider it offensive, you are a sexist, racist, Islam phobic, xenophobic,
uncultured and ignorant bigot." No matter how Lushsux change the mural, the local council ask the shop owner to clear it up within 10 days. At the
end, the mural has to paint back into all black then problem is solved.
Originally, Lushsux just want to draw public awareness. When we look back in his painting, he paintedDonald Trump naked and there is no reaction
from the local council and nobody gives attention to it. But when it

Argumentative Essay
Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946. He was born in Queens, New York. His father was a builder and real estate developer in Queens, Staten
Island and Brooklyn. Trump was an energetic, assertive child, and his parents sent him to the New York Military Academy at age 13, hoping the
discipline of the school would channel his energy in a positive manner. Trump did good at the academy both socially and academically. He became a
star athlete and a great student. He then entered Fordham University and two years later transferred to the Wharton School of Finance at the University
of Pennsylvania. He graduated in 1968. During his years at college, Trump secured education deferments for the Vietnam War draft and ultimately a
1–Y medical deferment after he graduated.
Trump, as well as his father, had a career in real estate development, bringing his grander ambitions to the family business. As a student, Trump worked
with his father during the summer
Boone 2 and then joined his father 's company, Elizabeth Trump & Son, after he graduated from college. He financed an expansion of the company 's
holdings by convincing his father to be more liberal in the use of loans based on the equity in the Trump apartment complexes. However, their business
was very competitive.
It is evident that over the years, Trump was used to being in control and wealthy. There are many things that are named after Trump that hold

Possible Treatment For A Nine- Year Old Boy Mike
In this paper, I would like to discuss a possible treatment for a nine– year–old boy Mike approaching it from two different psychoanalytical theoretical
perspectives, Freudian and Winicottian. According to the case history, Mike's parents were second generation Hispanic Americans. As a nine
–year–old,
Mike's development is still ongoing and his parents or any adult significant people in his life are still the primary coauthors of his maturation, and
eventually, his treatment.
The cultural transition and possibly the change in socioeconomic status had been ongoing for the parents. These transitions could have been factors in
the degradation of their relationship as husband and wife. The parents' marital circumstances that were on the verge ... Show more content on

Winnicott's, on the other hand, will approach Mike's problems in relation to the individual's experience and response to society or its environment, as
well as his characteristics in the light of the primary and secondary processes as complementary, rather than as being in opposition. Winnicott 's
theoretical elusiveness has been linked to his efforts to modify Freudian and Kleinian views on the instincts and the harsh realities they had found in
infant life. Instead, Winnicott studies the progress of the development of relationships themselves, observing how the individual becomes an individual,
and assessing how infants' environment affects the authentic self. Mike's mother probably did not notice how much he was struggling because of the
distraction of her own problems presented. It appears that Mike had developed a "false–self", a self Winnicott describes as a defense that a child
develops to protect the "true–self". It revealed itself through compliance and rigidity as a way of coping with the world but prevented his emotional
growth (Winnicott, 1963).
Although other psychoanalysts may have a different view of Winnicott's theory of the true and false self, it may criticize that the theory may have been
over–influenced by his own childhood experience of caring for a depressed mother, and himself developing a prematurely mature self which he was

All Creatures Great And Small By James Herriot
Introduction
All Creatures Great and Small was James Herriot's first book to be published in the United States. In this book, the mature Herriot tells about his
youthful self, when he graduated from veterinary school and began working in rural veterinary practice. The narrator like the reader is able to laugh at
his naГЇvetГ© of Herriot, as well as at the people who surround him, including Siegfried Farnon, and his brother, Tristan Farnon. This memoir ofJames
Herriot flashes the simple and laid back lives of the countryside folks. It exhibits their struggles, cultures, etiquette, hardships and relationships. The
stories that are depicted in this book is loosely based on Herriot 's life as a young veterinarian in the rough English countryside pre–WWII. There he
encounters many different people and animals from dogs and cats to livestock.
From the first day of Herriot 's arrival at Skeldale House, being greeted by a troop of leaping, barking dogs, to the week of tuberculin testing that
brings the book to a close, we share the moments of joy, laughter, tears, nerves, confidence, mix–ups, and triumphs involved in his Yorkshireveterinary
practice of the 1930s. We meet the eccentric Siegfried Farnon and the carefree Tristan Farnon and many interesting people around the Dales, not to
mention those marvellous animals who shall live on just like the human characters. I mean who could ever forget Tricki–Woo and Nugent that made

Should Hollywood Celebrities Have On Society?
The recent 2016 Presidential elections were, without a doubt, one of the most historical and popular choice of topic and debate in America. Donald
Trump and Hillary Clinton's campaign approaches had everyone decisively engaged in political debates on social media, television, talk shows, and
local news. While people who took an active part in these debates had knowledge of the subject that they were speaking of, it would be safe to
presume that society retrieved most of what they assumed to be factual information through social media or news outlets rather than through actual
research. Celebrities, more so than before have been using these outlets to express their political views as well, and with their enormous fan base, their
opinion become the opinion of many others adore them. The question however, should Hollywood celebrities be so actively involved, knowing the
devastating effect it could have on society?
2016 has been an interesting year for politics. The recent Presidential election has been a focal point of American lives, more so than any previous
election held before. The use of social media sites like Twitter and Facebook have been one of the primary platforms for people to express their
views, opinions, and difference of opinions. Celebrities as well have taken these social media outlets to express either their praise or disdain for the
presidential candidates, and with their huge fan bases have been very influential when they make statements

The Campaign Of 2016 Campaign
In modern campaign races, candidates must find new and unique ways to connect with United States citizens. In the United States, the campaign of
2016 started off and continues to show a shift in issues citizens currently find important. The campaign has been unique for who ran and continue to run
for the title of nominee. There are some veterans such as Hillary Rodham Clinton and some new to the race such as Ben Carson. The Republican
Nomination for 2016 more than the Democrat's has brought a large spectrum of different candidates with distinctive rhetoric and stances on issues to
the public eye. An individual that stood out greatly against the grain was Donald John Trump. Trump's work withThe Apprentice did help to get his face
known in the public, but may not the reason he attained a large support on the campaign trail. Other factors such as personality traits and social media
contribute additionally to how well Trump campaigned. Trump contain some traits such as an appeal to voters through his rhetoric, an association with
the Republican party, and utilization of social media. Trump's effective usage of these two methods allowed him to become the Republican Nominee.
Trump's appearance on social media platforms gave potential voters an idea of where they know him prior to running for the presidential office. Donald
Trump's television show, The Apprentice, depicts many of the similar skills and traits the Republican Nominee implements into his campaign strategy.

Analysis Of 2016 At & T
Over the course of 2016 AT&T has found itself at the center of many business and news articles. However, they are not stories of praise or of the
bright future that AT&T faces but yet stories of concern and challenges that lie ahead for the large world renowned telecommunication company. Here
we will take a deeper dive into the growing concerns of AT&T and form an environmental analysis of the three most significant factors, in my opinion
that AT&T is currently or will face in the near future.
One of the biggest concerns for AT&T falls into the category of Threat of Substitution and is the same concern that many other cable companies have
and that is the waves and waves of cord cutters that are consuming TV in a very different manner. We... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That leaves satellite margins at $42 and pushes DirecTV Now margins to slim, or even negative . The only positive that AT&T can take away from
this is that almost every other cable company is facing the same issues. However, it could prove to be detrimental to one of AT&T's competitive
advantages, differentiated services.
Another looming concern posing a threat to AT&T ties in with the first concern of AT&T's new cable plan through Direct TV, Direct TV Now and the
free streaming feature the service offers. Federal regulators raised new concerns about AT&T Inc.'s practice of excluding its new DirecTV Now
streaming service from data charges and, for the first time, lobbed similar questions at Verizon CommunicationsInc. . Verizon similarly allows
customers to stream NFL games from Twitter or its go90 app without using data. The agency argues the practice could deter consumers from accessing
mobile–video services not affiliated with the carriers, such as those from Netflix Inc. or Hulu, which is co–owned by Walt Disney Co., Comcast Corp.,
21st Century Fox and Time WarnerInc. 21st Century Fox and News Corp, parent company of The Wall Street Journal, share common ownership . Both
AT&T and Verizon are insistent that allowing customers to steam content without data usage or charges is beneficial to customer, but most view this
practice as a way to diminish competition in

Personal Statement : Mai Nguyen Tran
Mai Nguyen Personal Statement I still remember the last time back in 6th grade when I was holding onto a banana that two French tourists
handed to me as I stood outside of Nguyen Tri Phuong middle school waiting for my parents to pick me up...I could still remember that sense of
mesmerizing curiosity upon seeing people who were different from me...Having grown up in Hanoi, a very homogenous place where tourists
scarcely come and where everyone I saw has black eyes, black hair, and similar skin complexion, I was always intrigued to see tourists walking by
outside of my middle school, which was located on one of the streets in the center area of the city. I found pleasure in watching the tourists bring
cameras all over the places, maneuver around places with very confused faces and intrigued curiosity, and excitedly attempt to say "Xin Chao" (hi)
to local Vietnamese residents. I once thought to myself, "Why are these tourists so interested in seeing these seemingly ordinary buildings, trees,
and places and found so much joy in walking long distance around the city? Don't they get bored and tired?" I didn't know what it meant to be
tourist until I left Vietnam to study in the US and 2 years later came back to Vietnam with a "tourist" mindset. Having left one place, especially a
place where I grew up and spent 12 years of my early childhood, allowed me to embrace the things that my previous self would consider as "ordinary."
I was beyond ecstatic to once again get to sit on a

Analysis Of Donald Trump 's View On Political Issues And...
Think Twice About Voting For Trump
Trump's main appeal seems to be his projection of strength in free speech. This is his only trait that carries him despite his blatant lack of knowledge
on political issues and lack of experience. Donald Trump's supporters follow him because he speaks his mind, but any sane individual should be
vehemently opposed to Donald Trump being president. Donald Trump lies with such ease and tramples on free press and free speech, even going as
far as stating he will change the laws that we already have in place. We cannot accept Donald Trump to become a prestige leader to run our country,
he would be the most unqualified president in American history to become our president. Every one of our presidents has had either government or
military experience before being sworn in, Mr. Trump, a real estate mogul and former reality–television star, hasn't severed a day in public office or the
armed forces.
Moreover, Mr. Trump has admitted that he doesn't prepare for debates or study briefing books; he believes such things get in the way of a good
performance. No major presidential candidate has ever been quite as disdainful of knowledge, as indifferent to facts as he is. Mr. Trump believes
he'll snap his fingers and everyone from his political opponents will bend to his will. He is a man operating in his own thoughts in a fantasy world.
Mr. Trump's main concern is "winning the election," not "serving the people" or "leading the country." This is one

The Issue Of Racial Healing
"Wrong, Wrong!" "I did not!" "Excuse me!" Those were some essential phrases heard in the debate. The first presidential debate in 2016 was
extremely intense. The debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had a little bit of everything. At times both candidates agree but most of
the time they disagree. During the debate both candidates were very stubborn because they did not open up to listen to the other candidate's
perspective. The topics covered by Lester Holt were also very interesting. The three topics were income inequality, racial healing, and cyber security.
The main question I will focus on will be the question of racial healing. From the question of racial healing Trump strongly believes that law and order
is the best solution to reduce crime. He believes that if we do not have law and order we will not have a country. Trump believes that
African–Americans and Hispanics are living in hell since the streets are very dangerous. "You walk down the street, you get shot" are some of the
words Trump said in the debate. Mr. Trump believes this is happening because their is many illegal immigrants that are members of gangs that are out
in the streets. He also believes that taking away guns from people could be a good solution since many African–Americans are being killed. Trump
firmly believes that African–Americans are let down by politicians and that we need to start a good relationship with time in order to improve the
situation. Mr. Trump believes we need to be

Theu.s. Is A Unique And Special Country
The fact that some Mexicans send money back to Mexico to their families causes Americans to speculate and, as a result, believe that they are too
unattached to the pride that they should have while living in this country because of their close ties still with Mexico. In contrast to that, eighty percent
said in the survey that, if they had to go through the process of immigration all over again, they would because "the U.S. is a unique and special
country" (Farkas). Based on that high percentage alone, there can be no real debate on the intentions of Mexicans moving here other than those that are
encouraging.
Donald Trump, of course, attempted to challenge that statistic. During his campaign, he claimed, "The worst elements in Mexico are being pushed into
the United States by the Mexican government... They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems to us. They're
bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists" (Walker).
It seems that Donald may have a slightly narrow view of the number of people who actually fit into these categories versus the total number of
people attempting to enter the country. Based on previously stated evidence, their intentions for moving to the United States were to gain a higher
quality of life by getting a job, not solely to sell drugs and act as rapists. Now that he has been elected as our president, many Mexicans are currently
living in fear of what the next step in his plan of action is.
They now

The Presidential Debate At Longwood University Essay
The Vice Presidential debate, held at Longwood University on October 4th, was between the Democratic candidate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, and
Republican candidate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Specific issues were asked about by the moderator, Elaine Quijano, such as specific qualities of
the candidates that would make them good leaders if tragedy were to occur. However, the candidates used much of their allotted time to target the
opposing presidential candidate and would then interrupt their opponent multiple times throughout their answer. Comparing the citizenship
qualification of the United States to Germany may be helpful in solving the current immigration problems facing our country. The Vice Presidential
debate showed the differences in opinion on immigration; the Republican campaign looks to build on the current enforcement–only policies and the
Democratic campaign seeks to secure the country while attempting to help immigrants and their families.
The Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has shown an openly negative opinion of immigration, specifically of Muslims and Mexicans. The
common remark people remember is Trump's promise to build a massive border wall, which would be devastating to the economy. Mike Pence
focused his reply to the question of immigration on the safety of American citizens being the top priority. He also stated that their party would suspend
the Syrian refugee program because it is too complicated to know if a person is associated with the Islamic

Analysis Of Donald Trump And The Injustice Of The 43...
In this essay, I argue the government separating rather than bridging the United States. The main points I show in my essay are the language being
used by Donald Trump and the injustice of the 43 missing students in Mexico. We should be concerned about the government because it has gone
corrupt letting people run for President such as Donald Trump that is targeting minorities. In Mexico not helping the parents solve the case of their

What has the government done to make communities and families improve? Why do innocent people have die when the ones causing the corruption

Literature Review In writing about my topic I read many articles from Goldman that were about Donald Trump and the series of The 43 Missing
Students. I read the articles to help me understand more of the history of Donald Trump and the 43 missing students. The reading helped with my
research because it answered my question and it backed up my opinion. It helps address my thesis stamen because it brings more main points and truth
to my opinion.
Methodology
For this essay I conducted library research such as looking into Ebsco research premier for articles on Donald Trump's current governmental campaign
and the 43 missing student's unknown disappearance trying to make their community better. As well, reading articles from Francisco Goldman in The
New Yorker. Additionally, interviewing a student to see their perspective of the government separating theUnited States instead of bridging it.
Analysis
My research is important because it has to do with the well–being of people and bringing justice to innocent families with evidence showing the
separating of the United States. This is shown by how Donald Trump has caused people in his rallies to fight "It was the stench of overt racism, and of

Vermeer In Bosnia By Lawrence Weschler
In the text "Vermeer in Bosnia" by Lawrence Weschler, Weschler builds an argument surrounding the need of "inventing peace". Throughout the text,
Weschler refers to different individuals to build up his claim. In each part, Weschler focuses and describes each individual as a unique existence.
From murders to peacemakers, from past to present, Wechsler individualizes them from their groups in order to look at each with an unbiased, holistic
point of view, developing a clear goal for achieving peace. To further develop his argument, Weschler focuses on Jan Vermeer, an artist who spent his
entire life dedicated to drawing an ideal, peaceful environment which was non–existent during his time. Weschler repeatedly included Vermeer in

Maybe it 's my lack of artistic taste, but even after the realization, I was still unable to arrive at the same interpretation of the woman in the portrait as
Weschler.
Legacy, on the other hand, is clearly defined and nearly constant even as a large span of time has passed. Vermeer does include legacies, but with
limited use, cutting off a reliable source to back up his argument. The use of interpretations allows his argument to be disputed and possibly
rejected. After years of continuous violence and war, it is unlikely to seek out and prosecute the few that initiated the conflict since they are most
likely no longer around anymore. Even if a descendant is found, individuality alone may not suffice for prosecution, nor will it necessarily be a step
towards inventing peace. They might as well put up a random stranger, make up a case, and claim to have prosecuted the root of the evil. On the
other hand, prosecuting a family known to have a legacy of criminal and inhumane acts is much more likely to lead to step towards inventing peace.
Though it may disregard the individuals involved, it will truly be the end of one bloody legacy.
There are many instances where legacy trumps the interpreted individuality. In Ta–Nehisi Coates' article "The First White President", he brings up the
idea of the white legacy aka "the bloody heirloom" and uses it to describe Donald Trump's presidency. Coates develops an argument surrounding

Presidential Election Of The United States

  • 1. Presidential Election Of The United States After almost two years on the campaign trail, the United States of America has finally elected its new president, Donald Trump. No that is not a typo, this is real life. It was a hard fought battle between Hillary Clinton and the Donald which ultimately lead to one of the most shocking upsets in recent American politics. Being that the odds were heavily stacked against Trump as poll after poll predicted Clinton be the victor, it was to the astonishment of many that he reigned victorious during this 2016 presidential election cycle. Be it the will of the country (or in this case electoral college ) this poisonous cheeto will now be the 45th president of the United States. So how did this happen, what was it about Trump that pushed voter behavior in his favor in many key battleground states? Trumps victory lies in the hands of the silent majority who at this point were dying for change and saw it within the republican nominee. The biggest contributing factor to Trump's win on November 8 was retrospective voting which a lot of voters clearly engaged in this election cycle. When making the decision of who to vote for during an election, voters often tend to start looking within at their own situation before throwing their support at a candidate. Questioning whether ones is better off now than they were before the previous election is known as retrospective voting. This concept is the idea that voters take into consideration factors such as the performance a political party , ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest By Donald Trump Donald Trump 's run for presidency brings faithful supporters, angry critics, and a plethora of headlines. Supportive followers ignore the plentiful reasons that deem Trump unfit for presidency. For example, on several occasions comments and statements made by Trump paint him as sexist and racist. In addition, Trump shares similarities with Adolf Hitler, an unsettling realization. However, those who supportDonald Trump argue that his economic experience as well as his honesty outweigh the long list of his faults. America, a country considered a melting pot, requires a president capable of accepting those of different races and religions. Donald Trump's openly racist remarks disqualify him from holding presidency. In a speech, Trump made the "assertion that all Muslim people should be barred from entering the U.S." (Pulliman–Moore). In response, "White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest" stated ""What Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president"" (Pulliman–Moore). In addition, "House Speaker Paul Ryan insisted that religious freedom was a "fundamental Constitutional principle"" (Pulliman–Moore). Trump clearly crossed the line with his comment. Displaying islamophobia violates the right of religious freedom, as granted by the First Amendment. Presidential obligations include respecting and upholding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and Trump proves incapable of carrying out that responsibility. In addition to racism, Trump proves sexist as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Language Of Silence By Maxine Hong Kingston Language is much more than a method of communication. Permeated within it are traditions, customs, and legacies of one's culture. The identity of an entire population is in the distinct vocalizations of their native language. Unfortunately, as a wave of immigrants enters the United States at young ages, many face language barriers that pose significant challenges. Language barriers affect a multitude of immigrant populations to different degrees. This, in turn, causes many of them to abandon not only their native tongue but a piece of their ethnic identity, as well. In Maxine Hong Kingston's personal narrative,"The Language of Silence," she describes the difficulties she experienced throughout her childhood with a language barrier as a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Spanish is my native language, however, my mother advised my siblings and I to speak only English. This was because she was afraid that we would be rejected from professional careers if our English wasn 't unaccented, fluent, and similar in refinement to the working class whites. With time, I became a fluent English speaker with a developed Central American accent but like, any other young girl, I thought nothing of it. That is until one event, in particular, occurred that would cast a shadow of embarrassment onto my Spanish language. This event not only led me to desert my entire native language but a sense of my cultural identity, as well. Every afternoon, my mother would take my siblings and I down to the community park. It was a tradition of sorts. The leaves on the trees were brown, only days past Halloween. I sat under the dappled afternoon sun and played in the sand. On this particular day, however, a young girl approached me. Confused, I offered her a friendly smile but was, instead, greeted by the sand she kicked in my direction. Once my mother took notice of this, she came forward and placed a hand over the young girl's leg without physically touching her. "Stop," she said. With this one word, the girl ran off. After a minute or so, an older woman approached my mother and I, with a string of curse words. It was the parent of the girl from earlier. Her husband attempted ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Donald Trump 's Building A Wall Across The Entire Border... While there may be some truth to parts of Donald Trump's claims, such as the costs that have been incurred, but his overall plan is quite radical. The idea of building a wall across the entire southeastern border is extremely radical in itself. Trump compares the simplicity of such a wall to the 95–story skyscrapers he has built. Ali F. Rhuzkan has tackled the topic of the reality of a President Trump building a wall across the entire Mexican –American border in his article on the National Memo. Rhuzkan claims that the main problems with Trump's proposed wall are not technical problems, but logistical ones. Rhuzkan points out that "Trump's border wall, if built as he has described it, would be one of the largest civil works projects in the history of the country and would face an array of challenges not found when constructing 95–story skyscrapers" (Rhuzkan). Rhuzkan also points out what Trump's wall would need in order to be functionally effective and also cost–effective. "A successful border wall must be effective, cheap, and easily maintained. It should be built from readily available materials and should take advantage of the capabilities of the existing labor force. The wall should reach about five feet underground to deter tunneling, and should terminate about 20 feet above grade to deter climbing" (Rhuzkan). Unlike Donald Trump's wall, Ted Cruz's idea for technologically supported fencing would be far more cost–effective, easier to assemble, and could also be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The New York Times Of India, And The Guardian The United... The three different newspaper article providers that I chose are the New York Times, The Times of India, and The Guardian the United Kingdom edition. The article that I chose to compare between the three of them is about President Trump choosing his security advisors. I thought that it would be something that would spark many different opinions on a recent debate would be interesting to explore. The article itself is about President Trump choosing three of his new advisors for CIA Director which he appointed Mike Pompeo, for Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, and for National Security Advisor, Michael T. Flynn. It will be interesting to see what these newspapers have to say about their opinion of these men and how they portray them. The problem for many people is that people are afraid of what Donald Trump is going to try and do with the United States government during his four years in the presidential seat. With his selection of who he has asked to be leaders within his cabinet is another problem that the newly elected President is going to have to face in the coming months. Many people in the U.S. are upset over his picks due to the fact that they feel that they will be unfair and possibly unjust to the immigrants living within the U.S. While the other portion of people here are looking forward to a new positive change within their government with the new conservative leaders. The headline for the New York Times is "Donald Trump is Choosing His Cabinet. Here's the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. V For Vendetta Essay Tarunpreet Singh Ms. Redd English 12 24 October,2017 Shenanigans of the government In the world that we live in right now, anything is possible and that is for the good and the bad. Like represented in the novel, "1984" by George Orwell, the party used technology to make a whole new society that goes by the rules of the party, which just means that anything that the party does is justifiable because they are the ones making the rules and anybody who doesn't obey them gets "vaporized". Another example of the government controlling the people and invading their rights for the benefit of the government is the movie "V for Vendetta" directed by James McTeigue in 2006. After reading "1984" and "V for Vendetta", some might wonder if our... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another type of surveillance was that the part used children,"With those children, he thought, that wretched woman must lead a life of terror. Another year, two years, and they would be watching her night and day for symptoms of unorthodoxy. Nearly all children nowadays were horrible. What was worst of all was that by means of such organizations as the Spies they were systematically turned into ungovernable little savages, and yet this produced in them no tendency whatever to rebel against the discipline of the Party. On the contrary, they adored the Party and everything connected with it"(24,Orwell). This quote shows that the party used children to spy on their parents and other individuals. The children have been brainwashed since they were born, this is another tactic the party used to make sure that it stays in power because if they can move the youth to their side, the whole nation will follow. We might not know it but our government might just be looking through our electronics and keep an eye on us. Technology is good for us but it has been exploited in so many different negative ways that it would be better if we did not have electronics because we would still have our privacy. "V for Vendetta" uses similar tactics as us and "1984" to keep a close eye on the people of the nation. • 7. President Of The United States "His power, his passion, is the fabric of America. And it's woven by work ethic and dreams and drive and faith in the Almighty, what a combination." (S, Palin) Donald Trump is powerful, persuasive and risky. As a candidate for President of the United States, Trump stands strong to purported morals. His campaign video depicts him as the "ultimate candidate"; an individual is who has the ability to stand up for middle class American's yet be strong enough to institute change, which the Obama administration has been perceived as failing to do. However we are also able to see how Trump has used his power to shape his ideal self into something he is not. Someone who uses codes and signifiers in his favour to fabricate new ideas and conventions. Donald Trump has a strident voice, but those who stand with him appear silent in stark contrast. The reason for this being that Trump's campaign, even down to his fan base, is centred on oppression. His goal is to appeal to middle class, white citizens who feel that they have been deprived of the American Dream. That is; the ideal that "every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative" (Oxford Dictionaries). He targets this subgroup and directs their resentment to the people who have tarnished this 'American Dream'. For example, Trump has voiced that he wants to deport all Mexicans and build a wall between the borders demonstrating his strong motive to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Conservative Views Of The Republican Party Of 2016 I've spent a lot of time recently reading conservative explanations of "Why I support Donald Trump." Interestingly they often don't articulate any policy issues, but rather attack the alternatives. I read one particularly weak argument (bereft of any facts) that said "If Bernie wins we'll have a socialist president, and that is really scary!" It is this subject that I'd like to address: the unreasonable, rampant fear of socialism in America today. The Republican party of 2016 is hard to define, but one characteristic that stands out is their abject hatred (or fear of) socialism. They lashed out at the Affordable Care Act and president Obama as being socialist and have made the claim that it is greatest current threat to America. Really? Socialism. There are not many words that are more feared and/or hated in America during the last 8 years. It's the monster that hides under your bed when you're young. You're not quite sure what the monster looks like, but you know it is something to be afraid of. You've watched too many Friday the 13th movies. People can't explain the monster, but they know it's under there. You've never risked taking the time to look under your bed for it, and instead have relied on the rants and whispers of other kids who ensure you the monsters are very real. Socialism. The word conjures up views and ideas of an intrusive Big Brother. They will tell us where to work, what to wear, what to buy and how to think. We'll wake up one day ... • 9. Tv Advertisement : A Way Of Reaching People Since The 1920s TRUMPing the Competition TV advertisement has been a way of reaching people since the 1920s. Today is no different as Donald Trump reaches out in multi–medias to try and gain support for his presidential campaign this year. Trumps first advertisement is titled "Motherhood", and rightfully so. It talks about what he plans to do to help mothers further their careers, while raising children. In this ad his daughter, Ivanka Trump (who has two kids of her own) is the spokesperson. "Epic", the second advertisement, is clips of news casts, interviews, rallies, and campaigns pieced together to promote the image and the mass support of Donald Trump. This advertisement was made earlier in the race and has a very broad over view of what policies he is planning to use to "Make America Great Again". While both advertisements shed light on the candidate's campaign and his future policies, the "Motherhood ad focuses on the future of American mothers and building new opportunities for them, so they aren't limited to being housewives, and the Epic ad is geared towards his policy of immigration, and mostly his triumph of gaining supporters across the country. In "Motherhood," a thirty second policy ad on the hardships of women in society, Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump speaks to the plans of aiding women's future in education and healthcare. The ad begins with a mother and son smiling and laughing while Ivanka speaks in the background. She is introducing herself. It pans to pictures of her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In addition, as the article states, "Following the outbreak of World War One, Keynes joined the treasury, and in the wake of the Versailles peace treaty, he published "The Economic Consequences of the Peace" in which he criticized the exorbitant war reparation demanded from a defeated Germany and prophetically predicted that it would foster a desire for revenge among Germans. Full Name: Donald Fauntleroy Duck Birthdate: Egg hatched June 9, 1934 (Egg laid Friday, March 13, 1934) Besides in my opinon, being the greatest cartoon character ever, Donald is the one in the little blue suit that is more often in a rage than not. His personality shows through actions. He gives new meaning to the phrase: "Actions speak louder than words." His lines are few and almost indecipherable, forcing his actions to speak the volumeof his parts. His personality makes his character almost unpredictable and yet so predictable. • 13. Immigration Through The Eyes Of Donald Trump Immigration through the Eyes of Donald Trump Make America great again! As Donald Trump's slogan goes on to say; but what does it mean to make America great again? Does it mean we need to deport all the immigrants back to their country? Seems like Donald Trump has an idea about what can be done to improve our country. Trump has to be the most controversial presidential candidate running in the 2016 election, and his opinion about the immigration policy is his most talked about issue that continues to be involved in his campaign. Throughout the presidential campaign, Donald Trump has been the center of attention when it comes to the topic of immigration. The media has clamped onto the talk of Trump wanting to build a wall between the U.S and Mexico, all while having the immigrants build it. With the use of media, Trump has been able to create a sense of fear that the immigrants bring violence and crime to our country, as well as his intention of wanting to create a whole new system and to create a secure country. To start off, Donald Trump has taken into account that using fear as a tactic to help further him along in the election is right way to go. According to the article The Politics of Fear: Why Donald Trump is no Laughing Matter it states, "After all, the United States is a country that is often moved by fear and hatred, rather than love for fellow citizens" (Anderson, William). It has shown all throughout our history that fear is a way to get the people to listen and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

An inspiring and truthful quote on the sheer immorality of a mindset and ideals. While this quote is meant to speak for the good and righteous things humans stand for to protect their liberties and "freedoms", this quote brings to light a sad and dark truth. That creeds of hate, creeds that are only satisfied by the degradation of thy neighbor and implosion of any societal progress humanity has made since The Emancipation Proclamation outlawed slavery in the US in 1865, will never be destroyed or ever truly broken down. These criminal unnatural acts against humanity, performed by both notorious hate groups and everyday citizens, have been tearing at the moral and social fiber of this once proud nation for years. If the federal government does not intervene and take a far more aggressive stance against these crimes and misdeeds, then these vile acts will diminish any hope left for social redemption into idealistic dust. Before fully diving into these terrible and unbelievable crimes, it must be stated that from this point on that there is no such things as "an innocent joke" or "It was taken out of context. And why everyone these days seems to pursue it no matter what? For example, Donald Trump a powerful entrepreneur, a business man; not having enough with his success, now trying to be the leader of an entire nation. With my new position I didn't forget that one day I was one of them, on the contrary with every different situation I've always tried to be very understanding, and as fair as possible, but always keeping the hierarchy of my position clear. Despite the authority and power that I had, I always tried to make good things, and use that power to get the best out of my subordinates, and never abuse of this power. Above the supervisors, were the managers making sure that we were doing an excellent job, also in a higher rank were the Directors, and above them the CEO. Another thing that changed with my promotions, was the people I associated with. For example, at lunch time I didn't have lunch with my old customer service representatives coworkers, now I had lunch with the supervisors or even with the managers. Probably I was following the advice of the ex–president Eisenhower of: "Always try to associate yourself with and learn as much as you can from those who know more than you, who do better than you, who see clearly than you". Power sometimes causes a lot of problems, and people often tend to think of power as an evil thing, because it's so easy to abuse. The way of thinking that power corrupts has a variety of evidence. • 16. The Presidential Election For The First Time This November I get to exercise my constitutional right to vote in the presidential election for the first time. This opportunity is something that I have looked forward to for a very long time. I've developed a rather heavy interest in politics over the past year or so, and have been actively following the race to the presidency between Clinton and Trump. But despite my interest in politics, I have been rather quiet on Facebook about my political beliefs and my feelings on this election. While this is in part due to my lack of desire to post my political beliefs for the web, it is mostly because this election, I 'm doing something that would shock my younger self; I am voting for Clinton. Yes, I am voting for Clinton. And no, it is not just because I am 18 years old and living in a college town in one of the most liberal parts of Indiana. If I 'm being honest, I wanted to throw my vote away to a third party candidate for awhile. But ultimately, I decided that it would be better to throw my support behind one of the major candidates. So after lots of critical analysis of both candidates, including looking at their backgrounds and what their plans for our country are, I came to my decision. I know that many of my Facebook friends are Republican through and through. And I 'm willing to bet that this is because of their Christian faith. Growing up a Christian, I think it's considered the "norm" to throw your allegiance at the Republican candidate. Typically, the candidate holds ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Leadership, I believe, is not an idea that can be defined. It is instead an exemplary action by a single person whose best interest lies with the betterment of the group, and not himself. The qualities of an effective leader are apparent in Lord of the Flies. As for an effective leader in today's society, this essay will analyze the leadership qualities of the Republican and Democratic front runners in the current political race. A leader displays great knowledge, great charisma, and unwavering courage. These characteristics are best shown by Ralph in Lord of the Flies. What makes Ralph such a great leader is the fact that while he is just a kid, he possesses the maturity to know what needs to be done in order to save them from being stranded on the island. His first priority is to get the other kids off the island, despite the temptation to play and enjoy themselves. Credit Piggy as Ralph's advisor, as Piggy clearly shows his wealth of knowledge throughout the story. Together the two show great knowledge by deciding to build a signal fire, organizing groups of workers, hunters, and gatherers, and knowing what needs to be done. Because Ralph truly knows what needs to be done and how it needs to get done, I believe also displays his charisma. Research Paper Political Science The effects of the SuperPACs is something Americans are hearing more and more about in the 2016 campaign. Do Americans have a good understanding of what SuperPACs are and how they can affect the Presidential election.? This is something that needs to be discussed. As Americans, don't we have the right to know who is financing the elections? These are only a few of the questions many people should be asking themselves. The history of the government attempting to reform or suppress candidate donations for the office of presidency goes further back than you may think. In 1971, Congress passed the Federal Elections Campaign Act (FECA). This was important because it was to set limits on the amount of money campaigns could spend on advertisement and mandated the reporting of the source of funds to the federal government (Magleby, Light, & Nemacheck, 2015, p. 249). According to Magleby, after the major scandal of Watergate, Congress made stricter laws regarding limitations on spending and contributions of the candidates. Congress created the Federal Elections Commission (FEC); accordingly, the responsibilities of the FEC are to inforce the laws set forth by the FECA. Next, in 2002, Congress passed the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA), while President George W. Bushheld office (Magleby, Light, & Nemacheck, 2015, p. 250). My husband asked. We are political allies, a hive mind really, and he couldn't fathom my apparent calm. • 22. Different Forms Of Literature Display Multiple Scenarios Have you ever considered the different ways one's family makes an influence on how individuals view themselves? Many different forms of literature display multiple scenarios where the parents or sibling's perception of the world altar their own judgments of life or possibly even oneself. Think for a moment, from childhood the person or persons that you are the most familiar with most likely are the very people that you interact with on a daily basis. Most of the time, it would be your family or siblings that reside with you in your household. For example, a male who has continuously watched his father abuse his mother may one day become physically aggressive with his future companion or might even want to make sure he never puts his hands on any woman based on how it affects his mother. The way a person grows up and the influences that individual encounters can completely change the character of just about any human. Judgment from the ones who you consider family occasionally alters more than just an injured self–esteem but overall the perception they have for themselves. When the 'The Rich Brother' begins, the author, Tobias Wolff, provides information on how the two brothers Pete and Donald were complete opposites when it came to their personalities and the way they viewed life. When friends of mine who are Trump supporters inform me that they support him, I don't understand the reasons why they picture him as our future president of the united states. Donald Trump has never been an elected official. He has never been elected into an office of any kind. He's never had to broker political compromise or gave any political speeches prior to him running for president. With no experience in politics at all, why would people think he'd make a good president? Sure, Donald Trump is a barefaced self–promoter and experienced businessman. But people don't realize all of the mistakes he has made as a businessman. Washington, D.C., is not a type of Wall Street or anything for him to lose money or make some reckless decisions that would put our country into a deeper hole that we are already into, and also getting multiple things done within the nation's capital takes more than a huge personality and a strong will. If Donald Trump is elected to be our president, he'll have to quickly learn how to deal with his Democratic associates in the House of Representatives and Senate. He'll also have to get used to the pace of government because there are moments when things can accelerate pretty quickly and also where things can move extremely slow at times. Instead, Winnicott studies the progress of the development of relationships themselves, observing how the individual becomes an individual, and assessing how infants' environment affects the authentic self. Mike's mother probably did not notice how much he was struggling because of the distraction of her own problems presented. • 33. Analysis Of Donald Trump 's View On Political Issues And... Think Twice About Voting For Trump Trump's main appeal seems to be his projection of strength in free speech. This is his only trait that carries him despite his blatant lack of knowledge on political issues and lack of experience. Donald Trump's supporters follow him because he speaks his mind, but any sane individual should be vehemently opposed to Donald Trump being president. Donald Trump lies with such ease and tramples on free press and free speech, even going as far as stating he will change the laws that we already have in place. We cannot accept Donald Trump to become a prestige leader to run our country, he would be the most unqualified president in American history to become our president. Every one of our presidents has had either government or military experience before being sworn in, Mr. Trump, a real estate mogul and former reality–television star, hasn't severed a day in public office or the armed forces. Moreover, Mr. Trump has admitted that he doesn't prepare for debates or study briefing books; he believes such things get in the way of a good performance. No major presidential candidate has ever been quite as disdainful of knowledge, as indifferent to facts as he is. Mr. Trump believes he'll snap his fingers and everyone from his political opponents will bend to his will. He is a man operating in his own thoughts in a fantasy world. Mr. Trump's main concern is "winning the election," not "serving the people" or "leading the country." This is one ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 35. The Issue Of Racial Healing "Wrong, Wrong!" "I did not!" "Excuse me!" Those were some essential phrases heard in the debate. The first presidential debate in 2016 was extremely intense. The debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had a little bit of everything. At times both candidates agree but most of the time they disagree. During the debate both candidates were very stubborn because they did not open up to listen to the other candidate's perspective. The topics covered by Lester Holt were also very interesting. The three topics were income inequality, racial healing, and cyber security. The main question I will focus on will be the question of racial healing. From the question of racial healing Trump strongly believes that law and order is the best solution to reduce crime. He believes that if we do not have law and order we will not have a country. Trump believes that African–Americans and Hispanics are living in hell since the streets are very dangerous. "You walk down the street, you get shot" are some of the words Trump said in the debate. Mr. Trump believes this is happening because their is many illegal immigrants that are members of gangs that are out in the streets. He also believes that taking away guns from people could be a good solution since many African–Americans are being killed. Trump firmly believes that African–Americans are let down by politicians and that we need to start a good relationship with time in order to improve the situation. • 36. Theu.s. Is A Unique And Special Country The fact that some Mexicans send money back to Mexico to their families causes Americans to speculate and, as a result, believe that they are too unattached to the pride that they should have while living in this country because of their close ties still with Mexico. In contrast to that, eighty percent said in the survey that, if they had to go through the process of immigration all over again, they would because "the U.S. is a unique and special country" (Farkas). Based on that high percentage alone, there can be no real debate on the intentions of Mexicans moving here other than those that are encouraging. Donald Trump, of course, attempted to challenge that statistic. During his campaign, he claimed, "The worst elements in Mexico are being pushed into the United States by the Mexican government... They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems to us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists" (Walker). It seems that Donald may have a slightly narrow view of the number of people who actually fit into these categories versus the total number of people attempting to enter the country. Based on previously stated evidence, their intentions for moving to the United States were to gain a higher quality of life by getting a job, not solely to sell drugs and act as rapists. Now that he has been elected as our president, many Mexicans are currently living in fear of what the next step in his plan of action is. They now ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 37. The Presidential Debate At Longwood University Essay The Vice Presidential debate, held at Longwood University on October 4th, was between the Democratic candidate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, and Republican candidate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Specific issues were asked about by the moderator, Elaine Quijano, such as specific qualities of the candidates that would make them good leaders if tragedy were to occur. However, the candidates used much of their allotted time to target the opposing presidential candidate and would then interrupt their opponent multiple times throughout their answer. Comparing the citizenship qualification of the United States to Germany may be helpful in solving the current immigration problems facing our country. The Vice Presidential debate showed the differences in opinion on immigration; the Republican campaign looks to build on the current enforcement–only policies and the Democratic campaign seeks to secure the country while attempting to help immigrants and their families. The Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has shown an openly negative opinion of immigration, specifically of Muslims and Mexicans. The common remark people remember is Trump's promise to build a massive border wall, which would be devastating to the economy. Mike Pence focused his reply to the question of immigration on the safety of American citizens being the top priority. He also stated that their party would suspend the Syrian refugee program because it is too complicated to know if a person is associated with the Islamic ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 38. Analysis Of Donald Trump And The Injustice Of The 43... In this essay, I argue the government separating rather than bridging the United States. The main points I show in my essay are the language being used by Donald Trump and the injustice of the 43 missing students in Mexico. We should be concerned about the government because it has gone corrupt letting people run for President such as Donald Trump that is targeting minorities. In Mexico not helping the parents solve the case of their innocent children is a problem when the government should be doing their job. This causes violence amongst people and the government when we should leaning on them for support and protection. • 39. Vermeer In Bosnia By Lawrence Weschler In the text "Vermeer in Bosnia" by Lawrence Weschler, Weschler builds an argument surrounding the need of "inventing peace". Throughout the text, Weschler refers to different individuals to build up his claim. In each part, Weschler focuses and describes each individual as a unique existence. From murders to peacemakers, from past to present, Wechsler individualizes them from their groups in order to look at each with an unbiased, holistic point of view, developing a clear goal for achieving peace. To further develop his argument, Weschler focuses on Jan Vermeer, an artist who spent his entire life dedicated to drawing an ideal, peaceful environment which was non–existent during his time. Weschler repeatedly included Vermeer in different... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Maybe it 's my lack of artistic taste, but even after the realization, I was still unable to arrive at the same interpretation of the woman in the portrait as Weschler. Legacy, on the other hand, is clearly defined and nearly constant even as a large span of time has passed. Vermeer does include legacies, but with limited use, cutting off a reliable source to back up his argument. The use of interpretations allows his argument to be disputed and possibly rejected. After years of continuous violence and war, it is unlikely to seek out and prosecute the few that initiated the conflict since they are most likely no longer around anymore. Even if a descendant is found, individuality alone may not suffice for prosecution, nor will it necessarily be a step towards inventing peace. They might as well put up a random stranger, make up a case, and claim to have prosecuted the root of the evil. On the other hand, prosecuting a family known to have a legacy of criminal and inhumane acts is much more likely to lead to step towards inventing peace. Though it may disregard the individuals involved, it will truly be the end of one bloody legacy. There are many instances where legacy trumps the interpreted individuality. In Ta–Nehisi Coates' article "The First White President", he brings up the idea of the white legacy aka "the bloody heirloom" and uses it to describe Donald Trump's presidency. Coates develops an argument surrounding ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
