It's a string of sentences that you build your
stories. In this topic, we discuss the basic parts
of a sentence.
4. Parts of a sentence
In any complete sentence, the basic parts are:
1) Subject – the name of a person, place or thing.
2) Verb – the action the subject has taken.
3) Object – what the subject is interacting with. It
can be another person, place or thing.
They are called SVO. Some examples:
1)Mary likes John.
2)He kicks the ball.
3)I am studying in Singapore.
5. Using Adjectives and Adverbs
Recall that adjectives and adverbs give more
details to your sentences. We can possible
enhance these sentences:
1)Mary likes John a lot.
2)He kicks the soccer ball.
3)I am studying in beautiful Singapore.

6. Using Adjectives and Adverbs
Recall again that adjectives and adverbs give
details that are necessary. So you may go
further and use both adj and adv:
1) Little Mary likes John a lot.
2) He kicks the soccer ball hard.
3) I am studying in beautiful Singapore for my
degree.
