• The meaning of virtual in the context of
Virtual online meetings is that
• All set up is on electronic media
• Actually the participants are not in a meeting
hall
• All or some Participants are located at
different locations but connected through
internet/cloud.

• The participants are simultaneously connected
through computer network although located far
away but are interacting spontaneously during
the meeting.
• If you are off-line i.e. not connected then you
cannot participate.
• In real meetings inside a hall you are physically
present and directly interacting with or without
electronic media and are directly visible to each
other.

• These V-meetings are in real-time in the sense that
these are taking place in an electronic setting and live
which lead to achieve the purpose of meeting.
• There is no lag or latency in the happenings during V-
meetings and hence real-time.
• When I say meetings it includes webinar,panel
discuusion,open house sessions,debates and
conferences etc. Any group interaction and
participation widely located and connected and
brought together to discuss, deliberate or present any
content for a common pre-decided agenda.

• User device eg Computer , smart TV, mobile
phone or tablet .
• Device of good quality high speed processor and
sufficient data storage for text , audio,video and
graphics etc.
• High speed internet connection at user end.

the meeting e.g. date, time, no. of participants

ID and password/passcode plus web link of
the virtual meeting will be conveyed on mail
or whatsapp group or any other social

registered participant will browse the link for
meeting and join by feeding ID and passcode
or any personal data which varies among
