2. INTRO
• Welcome to my powerpoint!
• I will cover in this cataracts, stem cells, the brain,
canals, epilepsy, and LSD
3. CATARACTS
• In cataracts the your lens get cloudy making you
unable to see. You can tell if you have it if your
eyes are cloudy. Each year 22 million (aprox)
people are diagnosed with cataracts. The only way
to get rid of it is by having surgery in your eye.
4. STEM CELLS
• Stem cells are cells that come from fetuses they
can be used to make basically anything (including
new hearts!) Doctors would love to use this
because they can easily cure someone of an illness
without waiting for a organ donor or another issue
regarding supplies.
6. THE BRAIN (PT.2)
• The spinal cord is not shown but it is right under the
medulla.
• You can lose half of your brain BUT it matters which
part, some parts will kill you while some will have
long time effects. Whenever someone says you are
right brained you use your left hand. Whenever
someone says you are left brained you use your right
hand.
8. EPILEPSY
• This is a disease where you have seizures. It effects
your nervous system. A sign of it is whenever you
look at flashing images you have a seizure. You can
try and control it with drugs.

• LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide)you lick it or eat it.
• Is used to see things in a “weird” way, you see
everything differently like the picture from last slide
but on real objects. It can make your nervous
system (photo on next slide.) it can be addective, a
short term effect is you see stuff weird a long term
effect is you can get addicted.
