SUMMARY
Highly experienced, talented and dependable electronic, mechanical technician skilled in
preventative maintenance, assembly and complex troubleshooting of High Vacuum
manufacturing tools utilized in the microchip industry. Continually strives to ensure safety,
quality control, and reduction of repair expenditures by initiating and developing solutions and
improvements to support manufacturing goals. Implemented maintenance training, and
troubleshooting methods used to develop troubleshooting techniques. I served 6 years as an
Emergency Response Team member that required continuous teamwork and skills to resolve
safety issues. I was tasked with mitigating and or isolating Hazardous chemicals and gas spills
or leaks. I annually trained to provide basic medical and life support actions. In the U.S Navy I
performed daily maintenance of aircraft, associated aeronautical equipment and aircraft support
equipment.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
INTEL CORPORATION 1997-2016
Sr. Mechanical Technician
Successfully conducted preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical,
robotic, pneumatic, mechanical, thermal and optical control systems related to manufacturing
equipment in the microchip industry. Implemented procedures to improve product quality and
maximize operating capacity and efficiency.
Utilized state of the art mechanical and process training techniques obtained from Intel
product development factory to assist with Decommissioning, Dismantling tools for removal
and Install Qual IQ of new manufacturing tools for a LEAN ISO 9001 Arizona factory.
Startup was the most rapid in Intel history while preserving product quality and safety
standards of the development factory.
Responsible for maintenance and effective troubleshooting on High Vacuum manufacturing
Thin Film process tools which improved process tool availability, product through-put time
and reduced repair expense.
2. RAY HARLOW
Ensured critical calibrations of Mass Flow Controllers, Chamber pressure manometers,
Performed RF calibrations and troubleshooting of bad RF generators, laser optical systems
and robot handling.
Utilized sensitive tools including Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, dial indicators, RF Narda
meters, torque wrenches etc. to ensure quality maintenance was performed and that the
mechanical parts were rebuilt and installed per the required spec procedures.
Identified and repaired potentially costly mechanical and process issues using SPC
statistical process control data, and strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated skills in effective communication with engineering while effectively
maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical problems. Exhibits leadership skills while
mentoring, training and certifying new team members in preventive maintenance and
troubleshooting procedures.
Utilized Schematics, technical drawings, Spec procedures and BOM list to design and
implement maintenance and process procedures. This proved to increase safety and
quality while reducing equipment down time and costs.
