Objective:
1. McDs in Australia
2. Living Timeline
3. Count off by 7 and make a timeline with your
group....
4. How do I really write a timeline?
5. Living Time line one more time
Homework:
In your passport… what would your life be like if you
didn’t have your cell phone, computer, television,
game system, or a car. Are these items essential to
your life!
In your passport, behind Unit #
2 – on the first blank piece of
paper – write the date(10-15)
in the top right corner and
then write the homework
question down.
2.
3. Number Lines and Time Lines
Mapping out the events in history!
Draw a number line with negative and positive
numbers!
What happens to the negative numbers as they
go left to right (like you read a book)?
4. Make a timeline starting at 5 and going to 5
BCE BCE BCE BCE BCE CE CE CE CE CE
5 BCE 4 BCE 3 BCE 2 BCE 1 BCE CE 1 CE 2 CE 3 CE 4 CE 5
What did you notice about the letters BCE and CE?
What about the zero?
5. • On a time line you count just like you do
on a number line. Everything to the left
of the 0 counts backward and uses the
letters BCE or BC (depends on your
preference). Everything to the right of
the 0 counts forwards and uses the letters
CE or AD (depends on your preference).
