Joseph Henry, was a Master's of Public Health (MPH) He is
also a Weight-room manager at the University of Alabama at
Birmingham (UAB) Campus Recreation Centre. Joseph is
also married to a beautiful wife named Daphne and he enjoys
running too.

Joseph Henry decided to run to create awareness on 2 big
problems, hunger and poverty. He and his team therefore
began a 17-day run on February 9, 2011, starting from the
White House in Washington, DC to the 6th Annual
Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit at the University
of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.

The goal of the Hunger 500 is to increase awareness about
Universities Fighting World Hunger, the 6th Annual
Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit, and the global
fight against as well as raise a minimum target of $100,000 to
be donated to the UN World Food Programme.

In the end, Joseph Henry was successful in managing to
achieve his goals. Like he initially intended, he helped raise
