1. Exercise 1
For the first exercise, you will need to create a mini-game that will contain procedures such as
moving and colliding.
First, create a plane from the 3d objects and change its material. Next add a capsule that will be
used as the player. Then place more cubes at plane in different points that will act as "traps"
where the player will lose if he touches them. The best way to do this is by making a cube prefab
and at the script at the prefab so you don’t have to add the script multiple times.
2. • Next, you will need to add the movement script at the capsule. You can add the script by adding a new
script component at the capsule gameobject. And then write the correct code at C# in order to achieve
the correct movement. You will also need to add a character controller component at the capsule.
After completing the script, you can head at the inspector and choose a speed for your player at the
movement script.
4. • Furthermore, you need to create the script for the cubes so the player will lose if he touches them. We
will use the OnTriggerEnter() method so we can detect the collison. To make the player lose, we will
use Destroy().
5. Completion
• After you successfully created and added those scripts, move the MainCamera object to a correct
position so you can see the player and the map and now you can hit the play button and move your
character with the arrow keys or the WASD buttons.
