I would have this little book where in the beginning I would ask the child to read a few words and sounds and correct him if I have to. After that,
we would start to read the story. After we finished the story I would record it on a record sheet and the kid would put a number on a cookie chart,
when we would get up to number one hundred, everyone would have a cookie party.
Each session of the books was in different colors. There were about 24 books in each session. When the kid finished reading the whole session, the
teacher would come by and the child takes a test by reading all the sentences that the teacher gave him and if he does it in 2 or fewer mistakes then
he can go on to the next color set, which is a little harder then the last one. It was very fun working with the kids and I enjoyed every moment I spent

When I think of courageous people in our world one of the first people that come to my mind is Eric Berry. Eric Berry is a safety for the Kansas

writers. Today they may also study American authors such as Fitzgerald. But many schools limit students' exposure to Canadian novels with restricted
ISP reading lists. In this sense, Canada is an attic in which we have stored American and British literature without including our own.1 This results in a

Bad Coaching
The coach on the team is one of the biggest parts of giving the youth a good experience when participating in sports. For instance, in my last
paragraph, I talked about learning to work with others and gaining good social skills from sports. This partly relies on the coaching being involved
and caring. If a kid is mad at another kid for doing something wrong the coach needs to address this to have that child understand that he needs to learn
to handle it right. Instead of having that kid tell the other that he is dumb and can't do things right, teach that kid a better way to handle it. If it's a
one–time thing then let it go but if its constant then just have that kid help the other. If that coach does not help and show that kid how to handle the

Shutter Island, a psychological thriller, directed by Martin Scorsese incorporates techniques throughout the film to reveal the truth in Shutter Island.
The film is based on a missing patient investigation, but the truth shows it is a psychological experiment on Andrew to bring him back to sanity. By
analysing certain scenes, including the opening scene, Teddy and Chuck are addressing Dr Cawley, and whist Teddy and Chuck are interviewing the
patients. These three scenes assist in displaying Shutter Island through film techniques such as camera angle and mise en scene.
The opening scene uses camera angle techniques and symbolism to expose that Teddy is a prisoner on Shutter Island. A medium shot of Teddy

confusion, constantly asking questions throughout the whole film. Psychological thrillers have to be skillfully crafted to keep the audience in a state of
suspense. Shutter Island achieves this statement in many ways. It is a movie played out mostly in the point of view of the main character, Teddy
Daniels. We follow Teddy throughout thefilm as he tries to do his job as a U.S marshal by investigating the suspected escape of a mentally unstable

The Character of Sir John Falstaff is an integral part of any adaptation of Shakespeare's "Henry" plays. The treatment of this character effects the way
the production will be taken by the audience as the treatment of Falstaff is directly related to the understanding of the character of Prince Hal (later
Henry V). Kenneth Branagh's Henry V, the BBC versions of parts one and two of Henry IV, andOrson Welles' amalgamation Chimes at Midnight all
show Falstaff in different lights, producing three different takes, not only on the character himself, but also on the interpretation of Prince Hal, and the

I'm also happy that my pessimistic predictions of this interview turning uneventful did not come true. I think the interview was very natural and

The Importance Of Characters In Fifth Business
In the novel Fifth Business, characters mark new chapters of their lives by changing their names. Names are used to identify people in society and they
are a symbol of self. The characters, Dunstan, Boy and Paul all change their names, Dunstable to Dunstan, Percy to Boy, and Paul to Magnus. Despite
the characters' attempts to change their names and personalities, Davies reveals that people will always maintain their true identities.
Throughout the novel, Dunstan plays the role of "Fifth Business" even when he embarks onto a new chapter of his life. Dunstan's major role in this
book is revealing to Paul that the cause for his mother's insanity was because Boy threw a snowball with a stone in it that hit his mother. He says,
"Dunstan Ramsay counselled against revelation, but Fifth Business would not hear. 'Yes, guilt. Staunton and I robbed your mother of her sanity' "
(Davies 263). In this quote, Dunstan claims that he is Fifth Business because he provided information that led Paul to kill Boy. Paul was always told
his birth was the cause of his mother's insanity. Her madness is what made him leave Deptford and caused him trouble during his childhood. Later on
in the conversation Dunstan says, "Fifth Business insisted on being heard again. 'Would this jog your memory?' I asked, handing him my old

Rising Voices Summary
Rising voices, this is one of the best documentaries that i've ever watched. The Rising Voices" documentary was talking about a few major events that
has happened. They first talk about how the language isn't getting told to the younger children in most areas. There are many people who talk about the
information of knowing that many Lakotas don't know how to speak there language. That is why they started to have the immersion schools. It is a
very good thing that they are having the schools, so that the language does not die off. They want it to keep going on for generations and generations.
The entire documentary just shows that the people of South and North Dakota need to keep trying to learn their language so that it doesn't die. That the

In the documentary I liked many different components. I liked how they used elders to talk about the language, then the adults, than teens and lastly
how they have the little kids talking in their Native language. When the elders are talking in their language, it makes not only me feel connected to

I personally relate well to a specific portion of this story. Lieutenant Jimmy Cross carried a pebble with him everywhere he went. It may seem

Family Reflection
When I was watching this movie, I felt great sadness for Howard. I'm sure the loss of a daughter can be detrimental to someone. I know that
everyone deals with their grief and suffering differently. I could understand his reason for being angry and acting in the way that he did.
However, I did fail to see that he was not the only one struggling with grief and suffering. Not only did he need his friends but his friends need him
as well. I feel like just like Howard our grief can have a domino effect on others to help them come to terms with their suffering as well. Howard
was in a sad and depressed state and his friends simply wanted to help him. Which is what most friends attempt to do for each other. However, like
his friends, I feel we get so caught up in helping our friends through their struggles we seem to forget our own. I could see the redemptive suffering
through each character. I feel like we get so angry at God for our suffering and we give up and find others to blame. However, I am a firm believer
that God only gives you what you can handle, and that God challenges you to help you become stronger and better. Like the characters in the movie
we just get so caught up in blaming others that we fail to see the beauty of the result of our suffering. When a loved one dies, it is immediately seen
that God is punishing us, but it can help us to see the beauty of life. When someone passes, we want to cry and seclude ourselves from others like

How many times do you hear kids say they are cold in school? Most kids complain about it being cold in classrooms. Our middle school does not
