2. ITV
• ITV is a commercial tv network based in the UK. It was first released in 1955,
originally known as the independent television authority (ITA). ITV is part of
the four telestrial television services. Others include BBC one, BBC two and
Channel 4. ITV also have a range of other channels who are associated with the
main one. These are, ITV 2, ITV3, ITV4, CITV, ITVBe and ITV encore. Each
channel varies in the type of programmes shown which help viewers watch
different genres of shows on different channels. For example, ITV has shows
such as, X Factor, Britain's got talent and I'm a celebrity get me out of here.
Whereas, ITV 2 has shows like, Family guy and American dad. One last example
is CITV, which is more directed towards children with shows like, Ben10 and the
Tom and Jerry show.
3. ITV
• ITV is the UK’s largest commercial producer. They display shows across a varied
range of genres. Common forms include drama, entertainment and factual shows
which are produced from ITV’s own channels. This is similar with other main
channels such as BBC one, BBC two and Channel 4.
• ITV is popularly known for its most famous shows which are viewed by millions.
These include: Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and X factor. As well as these drama
and reality shows the factual shows are very popular as well with shows like Good
morning Britain. ITV produce their own documentaries as well with aren't hit being
the two Princess Diana stories which captured the nations attention.
4. ITV
• Similar to BBC and Channel 4, ITV has a method of watching shows if the
audience has missed it. This is through an on demand service like BBC
iPlayer and Channel 4 catch up. This is called the ITV hub. They have all the
related channels on the website which gives the audience to watch shows
from all of ITV’s channels. As well as this, ITV allows users to watch live
shows. This cam be helpful if you are out and missing a programme live so
