Project Description:
The New Port is strategically positioned to serve Jordan’s captive market, the
Levant,andthe re-constructioneffortsinthe Middle East.Inorderto leverage new
businessopportunities, it will also offer industrial land adjacent to the New Port.
The NewPort of Aqaba will comprise 3 distinct new terminals that will be located
in a large basin created by dredging the foreshore, and they include the General
Cargo and Ro-Ro Terminal, the grain Terminal and the New Ferry Terminal.
The NewPort will accommodate all marine unitsbelonging to Aqaba Ports Marine
Services Company (APMSCO) in addition to administrative buildings & marine
facilities.
The General Cargo & Ro-Ro Terminal will consist of a new multi-user, multi-
purpose General CargoTerminal. It will replace the existing General Cargo berths
in the Main Port and will accommodate other Cargo displayed by other port
developments.
The NewGrain Terminal will replace the existinggrainfacilities at the Main Port; it
will handle the import of grains for the Jordan Silos & Supply General Company
(JSSGC) and any potential future users as well as the transshipment of grain to
other markets; The terminal will consist of a new grain berth, storage terminal
with truck loading facilities and a bagging plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the day-to-dayconstructionmanagementof the project.
• Prepares,supervisesandapprovesthe developmentof PEP[fromconstruction
pointof view],anditsimplementationplusensuringLessonsLearnedare properly
documentedthroughoutthe life of the projectincludingProjectClose-out.
• Manage the constructioneffortandbe the constructionrepresentativeof our
companywithClient.Toplan,developandorganize the constructioneffortto

5) Project: Sulphuric and Phosphoric Acid Plants.(sheidiah, Jordan)

Project Objectives: it is a huge Plant to produce sulphuric acid in order to enter new
process to produce sulphuric Acid from the Raw material to the final storage
production divided into 3 zones (SAP,PAP and Non Process buildings).

Process Building (MEP,HVAC,FF and FM200), Infra Structure (Potable Network,
Sewage Network and firefighting),Electrical Substations (MEP,FF,FM200,emergency
showers and HVAC) and Waste Water Treatment Plant ( Pump station, mixers,

6) Project: Residential Complex.( Alsheidiah, Jordan)

7) Project: Aqaba Container Terminal Extension
(Owner: ACT, Engineer: CGR,UK).
Tender Values: 70 millions USD.
Position: Piling Preparation Engineer.

Project Objectives: to extend and expansion the Terminal by increasing the deck
length by 1 km starting from sea backfilling partially then Piling activities, casting
concrete inside piles finally the platforms erection and cranes installation including
all the mechanical and electrical services.

activities from pile transportation to the Piling Drive (Coating, Welding, and Piling
by Vibrator and impact hummer) in addition to the welders following from the test to
the NDT for the pile.
