Furthermore, gait asymmetry in transtibial amputees is associated with poor functional outcomes, impacting performance-based physical function tests like the Timed Up and Go, the 10-Meter Walk Test, and the 6-Minute Walk Test. Understanding these gait abnormalities is crucial for tailored interventions and prosthetic design to improve outcomes for individuals with transtibial amputations.
