• Sperm- swims to the egg, carries genetic
information
• Root hair cell- sucks up water for the plant
• Leaf cell- collects as much sunlight as possible
• Nerve cell- sends information about the body to
the brain and back again
• Red blood cell- carries oxygen in blood. No
nucleus

cells working together to help the living
thing stay alive
• In humans and other animals, there are
organs like the skin, heart, lungs etc
• In plants, there are organs like roots, leaves
and stems
