6. If I hurry through this practice, I can start working on my homework so I won’t have to do any at home. Then I can go play right away!

7. Kristyn, how come you’re not working on the practice exercises I assigned? From now on you must take your time. Being done first is not always best. I know you have wonderful handwriting when you don’t rush. Kristyn, the point of these exercises is to work on your handwriting skills. When you rush through them, I can’t read what you’ve written. You’re going to have to do all the exercises over and redo your homework so that I can read your writing. May I please see your workbook? I’m glad this is easy, now all I have to do is finish three more problems and I won’t have to bring anything home! Oh, I already finished those. They were easy. See…I am all done and I finished before everyone else!
