Received my undergraduate in Elementary
Education from the University of Illinois
Received my masters in reading and literacy
from Benedictine University, Certified Reading
Specialist
Taught third grade for three years, Third year
in first grade
I love being a part of the Dryden Community!

18. Have You Filled a Bucket
Everyone has an invisible bucket. We are at our
best when our buckets are overflowing- and at
our worst when they are empty.
Everyone also has an invisible dipper. In each
interaction, we can use our dipper either to fill
or to dip from others’ buckets.
Whenever we choose to fill others‘ buckets, we
in turn fill our own.

Send in an envelope with child’s name
and “Lunch Money” on the front
Choice: Hot lunch (red, white and blue)
Home lunch, or Cold lunch (brought
from home)
Home lunch, please send a note
20. Miscellaneous
Check backpacks nightly- take home folders
Scholastic books orders- once a month
Homework due following day unless otherwise noted
Health- if sick, please stay home! Do not feel guilty about
missing- we want a healthy class!
