- If the card is for vegetarians we should use colours that people would categorize to be
natural and organic, we could also do the food in a summer theme because organic foods
tend to be quite light, the kinds of food we could include are salads, cocktails, Etc.
- One card could be for young boys for birthday parties, we could do this style of this food
as spring and do warm food that’s American, and the cards could include how to make
things like pizza, quorn burgers and home made fries.
- Young girls sleepover could be an idea for another card, the recipe cards could include
how to make nibbles, for example Quorn nuggets, quorn sausage rolls.
- If we were going to go with the idea of doing a organic
card then we could maybe add some graphics on the
front of the card, for example a green leaf, this would
represent organic food.
- The card that would be for a young boy’s birthday
party could have some balloons on the back of the card
to show that it’s for a birthday party.
- For the Young girls sleepover card we could have some
graphical pictures of flowers on the back of the card
because this represents girls.
If we are going to be doing any photography or using
images for any of our recipe cards then we will need to
use high quality images for them all to make the card
look professional and because it says so in the brief.
If we took any of the images our self then we would take
them in a studio so that they look as professional
aspossible, this will also help us to get a higher grade.

- For the organic dish we could do things like
warm potato, radish, halloumi salad,
artichoke and roasted pepper omelette,
gnocchi and broccoli with cream sauce, and
a Japanese tofu noodle bowl. These are all
light and healthy food’s that vegetarians
will enjoy on a hot summers
day.
- For a young boys birthday party we
could do a Quorn burger, home made
fries, and pizza which is something fun
and easy for all children to make.
- The young girl’s sleepover card could have
recipes for making butterfly buns, Quorn
nuggets, and Quorn sausage nuggets which
are all small simple things ideal for any
sleepover.

- Everyone likes to have something cool when they are warm, so for our organic summer
dish I came up with the idea of doing a summer pie, with ice cream and fruit inside, lemon
berry cheesecake, and a fruit salad.
- All young children love chocolate so for the young boy’s party card we could include things
like brownies, cookies, cupcakes and vanilla ice cream with strawberries.
- The young girls’ sleepover card will also consist of the same sort of things as the boy’s
party card though we could just change some of the ingredience.
- The organic card will have the writing on the front in fancy
writing which will have a varnished effect to it so that it
looks classy and expensive, like we want our food to look.
- For the young boy’s party card we will have a picture of
the food on the front of the card and then have it
embossed so that it’s something fun for the children to
look at.
- The young girl’s card will be done in die cut; we will have
the front layer of the card cut out and then a image of
some of the meals underneath.
- The colour scheme for the organic card will be all pale colours
that are considered to be natural/organic, for example, we will
be using the colour green and yellow.
The font that we will use is Impregnable, which is from the
Dafont website. I think this best fits what we want the font to
look like as its fancy which will make the card look expensive
and at the same time easy to read.
- The boy’s party card will consist of the colours red, blue,
orange, green, and yellow. I feel that this would be apt for
there card as they are bold and bright which will attract there
attention.
The font that we will use for this card would be Fanzine title;
this is because the font looks fun and like a child has done it
which is what we are wanting.
- The girl’s sleepover card will have feminine colours, for
example, pink, and purple.
The font that would be being used for this card is CF Life is
Beautiful, this is because the font looks feminine because of
the flicks and it also looks quite girly because of the way that
it’s been put together.
