1. What kind of media institution might distribute your film and
why?
Our film would be distributed by a British company.
The institution i think that are most likely to distribute our film
is ‘The UK Film council’ this institution features short films
like ours. They support many up and coming directors and
help their British films attract a wider target audience.
British Film council have distributed films such as the 2008
British Horror film ‘Hush’ which is the same genre as our film
which shows they have experience with this kind of
distribution.
Production Companies I've researched: Hammer film
productions, Blumhouse productions, platinum Dunes,
Ghost House pictures and Rouge, these production
companies are renowned in the production of horror films.
