2. God talks with Satan about JOB
• Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan,
Hast thou considered my servant Job, that
there is none like him in the earth, a
perfect and an upright man, one that
feareth God, and escheweth evil?

• Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye
heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe
to the inhabiters of the earth and of the
sea! for the devil is come down unto you,
having great wrath, because he knoweth
that he hath but a short time.

your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,
walketh about, seeking whom he may

was cast out, that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the
whole world: he was cast out into the
earth, and his angels were cast out with
him.

• Considered = given thought to, judged
worthy

making a decision

8. Servant
• Slave or Servant = Ebed- in Hebrew
• a person who is the legal property of another and is
forced to obey them.
• God does not force you! He has a volunteer army!
• Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross, and follow me.
9. JOB
• Blameless, Upright
• Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of
Uz, whose name was Job; and that man
was blameless and upright, and one that
feared God, and turned away from evil.
10. What made Job a great servant?
He did not allow his material wealth to deter him
from serving God?
• Turn to Job 31:16-25 please
• Job 1:20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and
shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and
worshipped,
• Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's
womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD
gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the
name of the LORD.
11. What made Job a great servant?
• He did not allow his material wealth to deter
him from serving God?
• Job 4:3 Behold, you have instructed many,
and you have strengthened the weak hands.
• Job 4:4 Your words have upheld him that was
falling, and you have strengthened the feeble
knees.
12. What made Job a great servant?
• He feared GOD
• Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD,
and said, Does Job fear God for nothing?
• Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the
beginning of knowledge: but fools despise
wisdom and instruction.
13. What made Job a great servant?
• Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what
does the LORD your God require of you, but to
fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his
ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD
your God with all your heart and with all your
soul,
• Deuteronomy 10:13 To keep the
commandments of the LORD, and his
statutes, which I command you this day for
your good?
14. What made Job a great servant?
HE feared GOD
• Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the
conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God,
and keep his commandments: for this is
the whole duty of man.
15. A true Servant does not quit on GOD
• JOB did not quit on GOD!
