How to Start a Blog ? If you are new to blogging or would like to start your own blog then here are some simple steps which will help you to kick start your blog in 30 minutes. There is lot of money in blogging business. Some of the most popular bloggers of India make more than $5000 a month ( Rs 300000/ Month). It all starts with a will and we know that " Where there is a will, there is a way". Start with finding a good domain name for your blog. It can be your own name or something catchy. 2. Domain and Hosting
Choose Domain and web Hosting
This is the fist step to start a blog however, not mandatory.
You can also start blogging by creating an account on
popular blog websites for free where you get a free sub-
domain but with many limitations in terms of customization.
You can buy domain and hosting from popular websites
like Go Daddy, Resellerclub and 1&1.
Its important that you take Linux hosting with minimum 1
GB space and unlimited bandwidth.

3. Choose your blogging platform
Choosing a blogging platform should not be a challenge.
Blogger and WordPress are the most popular blogging
platforms.
WordPress is my favorite as it has big open-source
community and plug-in available for SEO and Social
sharing.
Blogger by Google is also preferred by many bloggers but
not my favorite.

4. This can be a bit tricky.
Some hosting Cpanel have an option for one click install
which makes this step a cake walk.
Some Panels may not have this option so you need to
configure that using PHP MY ADMIN.
Watch some You tube video’s to make this simple.
Install WordPress on Server

5. Find a Nice Blog Theme
This should be very easy.
Default blog theme or WordPress or blogger may not
appeal to your eyes.
There are many free and paid blog themes available on
internet to match your taste and preferences.
You can buy any blog theme and install by going into the
theme options of WordPress admin.

6. Install SEO Plugins
SEO is very important aspect of any website or blog.
Installation of SEO Plugins will make your blog searchable
on search engines and increases your chances of getting
more unique visitors.
Some of the most common and my favorite seo plugins for
wordpress are all “in one SEO” and “SEO by Yoast”

7. Install Social Plugins
Social Plugins will help you share your post among your
friends and family members on social platform.
Social signals are also important factor in search engine
rankings.

8. Start Blogging
You can open the WordPress admin panel by typing
yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
Enter your username and password to login to the
WordPress panel.( Remember the one which you put at
the time of installation)
Click on post>new post and write your first post.
