1. Beginner’s guide to SEO:-
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a process to increase your website’s visibility
in the organic search results in major search engines. The higher the website is, the more
people see it. Your website will be lost if not properly indexed by search engines like Google,
Yahoo, Bing,etc.
There are three important factors to get that visibility ;
● What type of content people want or need.
● How search engines work.
● How to promote and optimize your website properly
Doing On-page SEO means optimizing your website to affect the organic search results. It’s
everything you can do inside the website – from content optimization through technical aspects
such as ; meta tags, headings, URL structure, images optimization, content, structured data,
website size and speed.
Whereas in Off-page SEO, it means all activities you can do to improve the website SEO
authority through getting backlinks from other websites. There are many ways to get them such
as; email outreach, guest blogging, submissions, social media efforts, cooperation with
influencers, writing valuable content, so that people would love to link to your website
Thus in order for your website to perform well in SEO, it needs to be search engine friendly
which means search engines should be able to find and access your pages easily.
Search Engines Work Using a 3 Step Process:-
2. ● Crawling- Search engines have so-called “crawlers” to constantly search the web for
pages. They find pages by following links and parsing XML sitemaps.
● Fetching- It manually submit pages to google’s search index, so you can quickly
and efficiently let google know about changes to your site
● Indexing- Indexing is a collection of web pages—a database, that includes
information on the pages crawled by search engine spiders.
There are three types of SEO to help you earn greater visibility in search results:
● White Hat
● Black Hat
● Grey Hat
