2. PC/Laptop - To help me create my
magazine I will have to use a PC or a
Laptop to develop different elements of
my magazine, such as: storing images
and text on there as a backup to a USB
stick. I will also be able to edit pictures
through my laptop whenever I want. I
will also be able to keep up to date with
tasks that have been set through word
press, and also keep my blog page
updated at all times.
3. USB – To keep my work
safe at all times I will keep
all of my work on a USB
stick as a backup to my
Laptop/Computer, by
using a memory stick I will
decrease the chances of me
losing my work at school
as the computers in school
are unreliable most of the
times. With a USB I can use
it anywhere, even at home
and it will speed up my
work.
4. Camera – I will be using a
camera to take all the various
shot types I will need to create
my magazine. I will be using
my own camera so I could
keep all the shots I have taken,
as later on I could then choose
the pictures I want and do not
want. By using a school
camera I will be only able to
use it while in school, whereas
with my own camera I can use
it whenever I like, and keep
practising my shots.
5. Wordpress will be the main
piece of software which will
be consistently used
throughout the creation of my
magazine, I will use it to hand
my work in, look at my peers
work and take ideas from it to
help with my own.
Wordpress will be available to
me at all times, at home and
at school. It will also help me
in terms of managing and
storing my work, I will be
able to edit my work on there
too.
6. Adobe Photoshop will be the
most important software
throughout the whole of the
construction & development
section, it will be used to edit
and create a new look on
certain pictures that need work
on them. There are certain tools
on it that I will use to add fine
detail and quality to my
pictures. Having used Adobe
before I will not need to waste
time getting used to using it.
7. Adobe Illustrator
I will use to
manipulate and
edit pictures, so I
can get the exact
type of shot I
want. It may take
me a bit of time
to get used to this
as I have not
used it before.
