Payroll and task management system are usually by manual which are things of the past with doing
that you can’t have up to date accurate reports and by not having up to date reports will create
inaccurate information.
In today’s society everything is about the new technology and we all know paper records are things
of the past era.
Some of the disadvantages of the manual systems are:
Delay of payment
Repeated loss of records
Physical destruction of records
Difficulties in managing paper work
System are prone to human errors
Low system security
Lack of data integrity
Slow movement of data between departments and people
Poor attendance report of employees
This application was developed to deal in general office operation such as saving of data in the
database hence fully automating the operation dealing with registration and keeping records of tasks
and employees.
Initially the company used Microsoft access to stores its record
That system was slower compared to the system I have developed due to application programming
challenges that lay before.
The system used in developing the previous system was less structruted . the PHP framework come with
the ability of structuring the object as real world entities unlike access database.
Advantages of payroll and task management system over previous system can be as follows:
It is more users friendly
It is compatible to more operating systems unlike the older ones
It is model the entities as real life entities
It is simpler to use than the older ones
It is more presentable
It is easier to maintain
Some companies that used manual systems in the past had several disadvantages which include:
