TurboKick News
We’re sure our TurboKick fans are sad to see
Meredith leave however it’s great to have
back one of our long-time instructors, Melissa! Melissa has already taken over the Saturday morning TurboKick class and will be
teaching the Monday night class starting November 4. Additionally, we’re excited to
announce that Jess Petco will be teaching the
Thursday class starting November 7.

Don’t forget daylight savings time will
end on Sunday November 3 at 2:00 AM.
As we move into colder weather please
be advised if you visit the UFC during
darker hours to stick to the established
and lighted sidewalks for entering and
exiting the facility as these are the only
pathways maintained for safety.

Intro to Hoop Fitness Workshop
Join Jennifer Shaw,
Hoopnotica Certified Instructor, as she takes you
through the basics of hula
hooping for fun and fitness! Using adult sized
hula hoops, this beginner
friendly workshop will
teach you hooping skills
both on the body and off
body incorporating every
muscle group from head to toe. Waist
hooping alone can burn 300-600 calories
an hour, tones the core, and generates joy
in a way no other workout will.
This is play that just happens to double as
fitness. No experience required! Body
type and level of grace or coordination (or
lack of!) will not affect your ability to
hoop. Everyone can hoop given the proper equipment and instruction.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Jess Trudeau
Join Jess in this special Pay-As-YouGo series of Vinyasa Flow Yoga
starting in November. This vigorous, yet multilevel class has something for everyone. Learn arm balances and inversions, strengthen
your core, and improve your balance. Vinyasa Flow Yoga translates as linking breath with dynamic
movement. It helps regulate blood
pressure, improve circulation, and
reverse the effects of gravity on the
body. Students will work at their
own individual pace with the opportunity to study the basics of the pos-
es and explore their variations in a
safe manner. These classes are appropriate for students with a regular
practice who wish to deepen their
postures AND for those practitioners who are newer to yoga and wish
to learn the variations to the full poses and still reap their benefits.
