Stress mindfulness and its power to
      change your perspective
My Focus Area

Getting college students to be more mindful of their
stress level while they are doing homework in the
                       library.
Mindfulness can help to
better manage stress
Stress can sometimes be a good thing. In short
periods of time it can boost performance.
Healthy stress can help us reach the optimal
      working state, known as flow
Too much stress, however, is
very unhealthy and can actually
 cause us to be less productive

The question is, how do we
get students to be aware of
       stress levels?

              Students may need more triggers to
            remember to be mindful of stress levels

            Students are not often taught stress
            mindfulness strategies - perhaps the
                 ability is low for many

       Students have a desire to reduce stress, it will
      be important to leverage this motivation and to
      show that mindfulness is an effective first step
