a tutorial on how to use TechSmith's Jing

1. HOW TO USE JING
Jonathan Anthony L. Garong

2. Go to
www.techsmith.com/jing.html

3. Click on Free Download

4. Select your OS

5. After downloading,
click on the installer

6. To begin installation,
Click on
Run

7. Check the
box saying,
“I accept the
fine print”

8. Click Install

9. Wait for the installation to
finish

10. Click on
Finish
Installation is done
and Jing is ready for action

11. But what does Jing do?

copied and paste what
Jing does and posted it
here.

13. But I’d rather use Jing to
show you how it works

14. See that yellow, sun-like
figure above?

15. That’s Jing

16. Move your mouse, over
the sun, and you’ll see
three options.

2. History
3. More

18. Click on Capture

19. This will appear

20. Select the area of the screen that
you want to capture

21. Click on Capture image

22. Choose a file name for the
captured screen image

23. You can now either
Share it…

24. Save it…

25. …Or
Copy it

26. If you chose to share the
captured screen image,
it will be uploaded to
screencast.com and a link
will be ready for use
