Crush Design is a full service design and digital agency established in 2003. They secured limited status in 2009 and now have 8 employees. Design is their core service but they also offer digital services. One of their clients, Barry M Cosmetics, had a website that was overdue, crashed easily, and looked poor. Crush Design fixed the technical issues, redesigned the site, added new sections like a customer blog, and created email campaigns to help Barry M succeed digitally. Crush Design has since built websites and apps for many other clients across various industries.

3. Case Study: Barry M
We saved Barry M three years ago.
Their brand new website looked awful, was one year over
due and crashed if more than two customers were
shopping online at the same time.
What we did
Stage 1 - Fixed stuff
First thing we did was sort it all out. Fix all the problems
and got the website up and running on a stable platform.
• Specifying new hosting environment
• Configure international delivery options
• Integration with their internal accountancy / stock
management software
• Reviewed and fixed all 600 product details (including
image optimisation)
Stage 2 – Made it all look beautiful
Once the site was stable the design team set about working closely
with Barry M to make the site really appeal to the target market.
This included:
• Redesign the homepage and content pages
• Develop a new menu system
• Create new ideas for shop-the-look and back stage
• Remove pointless irrelevant and costly sections

• Design super funky emailers
• Saved the day!

We are just about to go live with a Universal App, developed for iOS 7
and android, and for both phone and tablets. Due to be launched this
