2. Target Audience Research
• We decided to target our audience for people aged around 15-25 we found
this out through secondary and primary research.
• Our gender is more focused on males as they prefer the horror genre and
the thrill which they give it.
• It is aimed at all types of society and class. However it is less popular with
the upper class society.
3. Ideal Audience Member
• Our ideal audience member is a 22 year old man named
Jeremy, he is middle class he works at HMV and lives
with his parents. Because of his job at HMV he has easy
access to many films and knowledge about them he
watches horror films for a thrill and for personal
enjoyment during his spare time. Other then watching
films he enjoys playing games such as World of Warcraft
and many other computer games. He is a subscription
member of the X-Box magazine. He eats microwave
food and takeaways doesn’t enjoy going out for a night
out and prefers to stay at home. Due to his lack off
social life he is single and not a huge amount of friends.
Sometimes he goes to the cinema to watch the latest
films with his friends from works.
