3. Summary
• Main characters: Harry potter and his two friends Ron and
Hermione, Dumbledore (head of Hogwarts), Lord Voldemort
• In the beginning Harry is attacked by a Dementor (a dark being
that sucks the happiness out of you) and uses a spell (which is
forbidden by wizarding law)
• The wizard community doesn’t know that Lord Voldemort is still
alive
• Nobody believes Harry potter about his last encounter with
Voldemort
• Meanwhile a new teacher comes to Hogwarts who bans
correct defense against the dark arts teaching
• Harry potter, who is still convinced that Voldemort isn't dead
creates a secret club with a couple of students to defend the
school and themselves of dark magic

5. Why I chose this book
• It’s a very long book (longest of all 7 books)
• Very interesting with many plot twists, interesting
characters
• Good writing style
• Not an obvious ending
