3. Electro Textile:
Electro Textiles has been specially designed so that
electronics can be used in textiles. They allow lighting
effects to be added to textiles designs without any
soldering.
4. E-Textile
The LEDs are super small and are
easily stitched in by hand. The system
is simple. Stitch in a battery holder
and connect it to the LEDs using
conductive thread.
The parts are small and they are even
washable, but have to make sure for
removing the battery.
5. Electrical Properties:
Conductive yarns are either pure metal yarns or composites of
metals and textiles. Metals are superior in strength and
fineness, and textiles are selected for comfort.
electrical resistance has ranged from 0.2441 ohms per meter
(Ω/m) to 5,000 Ω/mThe method of integrating these conductive
yarns to create the conductive path on the fabric substrate
6. Mechanical Properties:
a conventional sewing thread did not show residual curls at all but
the threads are used in E-Textile shows the curling properties.
But, most conductive threads were not eligible for machine sewing
because of their lack of mechanical properties. They could not
withstand mechanical stresses that machine sewing causes through
the needle.
7. Flexibility:
Flexibility can be understood as the resistance to permanent
deformation under stresses such as folding or bending.
can be improved through textile processes such as spinning
or twisting
Typical flexural rigidity is calculated from the bending length
and fabric weight.
8. Stiffness:
e-textile was much stiffer than any conventional textiles.
stiffness measurement of the textile cable are three times larger
than the same textile strap without any conductive component.
9. Uses:
Being as luxurious E-textile are mainly uses as fashion aspects.
sometimes it used as special purpose.
It also uses as toys for children.
