Without a doubt, the level of study for a graduate program is more rigorous and demanding than

research experience in Dr. B Anand's lab, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, during my

During the whole process of designing the IMC plan for HP Sprocket in this semester, I have
earned valuable experience about teamwork, and I have learned lessons not only from class, but
also from the whole working process. First of all, I have to admit that this group is one of the best

first–time IMC practitioner. In this group work, because we do not have much time to discuss the
"Big Idea" at the very beginning, we decided to divide the work first and then combine them
together to find out the "Big Idea". However, I found that I cannot come up with useful strategies
without effectively communicating with my teammates about our goal for this plan. After we have
finished our first draft and uploaded it to Google Drive, we all agreed that this is a weak plan,

We needed to fully utilise our knowledge by applying all the basic concepts in physics such as
dynamic equilibrium and knowing the stiffness of the materials to build strong miniature bridge
using given items to withstand the weight applied. Gaining trust from the teachers was most
probably the most difficult thing to do when I was still schooling. Despite that, I assumed a few
positions of responsibility such as head of students' dormitory and peers club which helped me to
polish my leadership skill as well as my communication skills. Those positions created a lot of
opportunities for me as I had been given chances to face and handle real life situations and most
importantly is I learnt to make decisions which needed me to think thoroughly and carefully about
the outcomes of the choices that I had at that time. Besides, I was also one of the high committee
of several clubs in my previous schools such as the hockey club and also counselling club. I was
able to cooperate well with other member so that the organisations will run smoothly and I too learnt
how to organise and coordinate events successfully. Despite of those responsibilities, I managed to

My Goals in Studying Computer Science
My ambition to study further and to do research in the field of computer science has developed out
of my experiences in my academic life, work practices and also from my family environment,
which has always encouraged me to learn and take my decisions by myself. My interest at school
level lies more in subject of maths, science and computer sciences. I had created my first program in
LOGO progdramming language in my 5th grade. That was the time when I first encountered
computer programming and then in my subsequent years of schooling I have learned many things of
computer science. At that time I was not fully aware about the field of computer science. But after
coming in my undergraduate studies I have gained an insight of computer science in my course
work and became more interested in the field of computer science. Later I have decided to further
enhance my knowledge and do research by pursuing my masters in field of computer science. My
long term goal is to pursue research in field of computer science and create innovative solutions
and applications related to the field which is best to society. My interest in maths is very deep
from my school days and also I scored consistently 95% and above in the same during my
schooling. I was among top 1% students out of 90000 students in my 12th grade. Because of that I
